DIANNE'S POV

"Omg Alfie, come look at this!" I was startled awake by a female voice? Confused I pretended to still be asleep. Another person came into the room. "oh wow, who is she?" A male voice says. "isn't it the cutest thing you have ever seen? Look at how he cuddles her" the female responds "it is, take a picture" I hear a camera click as joe pulls me closer to his chest. I realize that this is his sister Zoe, and her boyfriend Alfie. My face probably goes brighter red than my hair. What a great first impression to make, in bed cuddled up to my almost naked boss. Thank god I have pajamas on. I pinch joe's arm, until I feel him stir. I feel his thumb rubbing circles on my arm, okay I think he's awake.

"Uhm, what time is it? And why the bloody hell are you in my room?" "well hello to you to broseph" the female responds. okay suspicions confirmed, definitely his sister. "it's 8 am by the way, and we went in here to ask what room to put our suitcases in. Didn't want to startle this one if we accidentally picked the wrong one but I think we made that mistake anyway?" "the one you stayed in last time Zoe." Joe responds with a sigh. "Anyways, we'll unpack quickly and then I can make the four of us some breakfast. Fancy some pancakes?" "Sure" "give me 45 minutes and I'll have everything ready" I heard her walk out and close the door behind me.

"I'm sorry Di! I forgot they were coming today" Joe whispers and cuddles me tighter. "not the first impression I wanted to make" Joe laughs. "don't worry about it, Di. any updates about Andrew?" joe asks. I roll over grabbing my phone. The latest text from my mom read. 'Hi dot, He's out of surgery, the doctors managed to stop the internal bleeding. A few bruises and broken bones, but he'll be all right.' A smile spreads across my face. "He's out of surgery, he's going to be ok!" "that's so good di!" joe responds pulling me into a hug. I quickly reply to my mom, telling her to say hi to Andrew when he's awake. "we need to get ready for breakfast joe" "stay here and cuddle" "nope" I push myself out of the bed and run to my room to get dressed.

I had dressed in a light summer dress and let my hair fall freely. When I got down to the kitchen Zoe had made a wonderful breakfast spread, pancakes, bacon, fruits, berries, anything you could want. I couldn't see anyone else but Zoe. "it's Dianne, right? It's nice to officially meet you, sorry about earlier I didn't expect you to be there." Zoe smiled sweetly.
"it's All right, I wasn't really meant to be there I just had a rough night" I blushed a little.
"Are you okay?" she looks at me concerned, tell me It wasn't Joe who made you upset?
"No, it was just a family thing, it's all okay now" I smile, and the worry disappeared from Zoe's face. "The boys just went to get something Alfie wanted from the store. Probably some stupid pool toy or a game." she laughs with an eye roll as the boys walk in with a bunch of bags.

"Hi there, I'm Alfie" he comes over and shakes my hand. "I'm Dianne" "We'll its nice to meet you." "you too" I smile, and he smiles back. he sits down next to Zoe who just placed a massive stack of pancakes at the table. "Hey, I brought you this." Joe hands me a steaming cup off coffee. "I had them make it extra strong for you." A wide grin spread across my face, he knows me to well. "thanks Joe"
We sat down and started to eat, Zoe made some great pancakes. I felt a comforting hand squeeze my knee as we ate. "So, do you all want to do anything today or just have a chill day by the pool
?" Joe asks. "we're both pretty tired after the flight so relaxing by the pool would be nice" Zoe replies. "Alfie and I bought some board games we could play tonight." "yay, I love games" "just a warning guys, this one is a little competitive" Joe teases and I elbow him.

"let's have a competition on who can do the coolest jump" Alfie said pulling out his camera. Zoe shook her head while saying "I'm not jumping in, I'll film" Joe went first doing a cannonball. Alfie went second doing some weird flip. "well I win" Alfie exclaimed. "you sure about that?" I said. I decided to go all in with a back walkover, and a backflip into the pool. As my head reached the surface again, I started laughing at Alfie and Zoe's shocked faces. Joe was laughing. "I win, I win" I giggled as I did a little victory dance. "what did you expect Alfie, I said she was competitive, and she's a professional dancer and Australian." Joe laughs. "That was cool!" Alfie responded. "I had no idea you could do that Dianne" Zoe said. "Are you fine with me putting it in the vlog Dianne?" Alfie asks. "if I can watch it first" I respond while I get on the flamingo floatie.

"Can I get on with you?" joe asks. Alfie had left the pool and was now on a sun lounger next to Zoe. "Can't stay away from me, can you?" I smirk at him. As he gets on next to me. "You okay with them here? It's not to awkward?" he whispers. "I mean it was kind of awkward at first, but they are both so nice." "Good" He smiles. "By the way, that jump thing you did was totally awesome, I knew you could dance and stuff but that was something else"
"My brothers and I had competitions like this very often when I was younger, so I had to just go for it, Plus I wanted to win"
"you always want to win" he laughs. "well your jump was totally lame" "I know, didn't want Alfie to break anything, he can go a bit overboard with this stuff like this." "so that's why you said I could go last?" "yep" I laugh. "So, you wanted me to win?" "yeah, the expression on his face was hilarious" "it was, wasn't it" "hey guys, should we get some takeaway for dinner?" we all agree.

The food had been lovely, we we're now watching some random tv show, no one was really following it. We had played a bunch of different games, Zoe had fallen asleep on Alfie. "Well guys, I'm going get this little one to bed, good night" he whispers. "night!" Joe and I say in unison.
"You tired?" joe asks. "No, not really, just a little cold" I reply. "come here then" I shuffle over to joe and he pulls me on top of his lap. I sit back, leaning onto his chest. He pulls a blanket over us and wraps his arms around me. I sigh letting myself melt into him, while I listen to his heartbeat.

I wake up feeling myself being lifted, I decided that walking would be to much work, so I pretended to still be asleep. I was laid down on a soft bed, and I felt a soft kiss placed on my forehead. I couldn't hide the smile that spread on my face. "I knew you were awake" joe whispered. "well I got a free ride, didn't I?" "who said it was free?" he responds. "what kind of payment do you want then?" I raise an eyebrow, he just points to his lips. I giggle and pull him down so I can kiss him, it's short and sweet. "Good night" he whispers as he leaves my room. "Night" I mumble, I fall asleep seconds later.
