Chapter 6 - Harder! (Completed)

The battle ground was a bit smaller than the outside but I can go with this.

Star challenged me to test out the new machine by fighting it. I agreed cuz it's cool. Even though I'm still not fully recovered from my previous fight with Raku.

Star clears some of the areas and switches the lights on so I can see better. He prepares the machine and I take my stance.

"You ready?" Star calls out.

"Yeah!" I reply.

Star switches it on easy, and set it on combat mode. The Magnet Warrior boots up then it charges at me.

"Woah! It's fast!" I loudly say it as I was startled by it's speed.

Thanks to Mr. Net, I have learned new tricks since I've fought Raku!

As the bot goes near me, I prepare a punch that would meet it's face. Same as what Raku did to me when I tried to punch her.

Well, I thought I'd hit it but.. It stopped then it drifts a bit to the left then it punches me to the face.

"Eh?-" I was surprised then I had another punch mark on my face.

I go down after that, then I started to realize it is not a simple thing to mess with.

"Mmm. Hey Melt, are you that weak? I mean, it's switched on easy. Not trying to mock you, but c'mon. You're better than this." Star complained to me in the back.

Okay then. I give off a pissed face then I look at the bot after.

I stood up and took a stance again.
This time, I was the one who's charging at it.

When I got near it, I jumped then I grabbed it's head. After that, I performed a flying triangle stroke by putting my legs around it's neck tightly, then I punched it.

It.. doesn't seem to be damaged.

"Gaaah punch it harder Melt! Do it harder!!" Star screams from the back.

I did what he said and boom. It's skull has a mark on it. But it regenerated instantly because of that nano tech thingy.

"Damnit!" I shouted off.

Then I assumed the bot has found a counter against this attack because it ran towards a certain part of a field
then jumped high into the ceiling.

"Oww!!" I screamed in pain as I got off of the bot.

"Gaah! you're annoying!" I shouted off as I try to land a punch on it.

I landed my strongest hit yet then I took off one of it's arms.

"Oh yeah!" I said with satisfaction as I see it's arm totally cut off.

"Hm. Looks like the Nanobyte regeneration isn't working too well yet. Let's leave it off here."
Star said as he turned off the switch.

"Okay." I replied. Is this my first win? WOH!

"Hey Star, uh.. can I talk to you about something?" Quaza suddenly asked after his moments of silence earlier.

"Oh.. uh. Maybe in a bit. I'll be a bit busy fixing the machine. Okay?" Star replied with a smile.

"Okay." Quaza said with a sigh and a disappointed look as he goes out the living room.

"Hey Melt. Thanks for helping me on this one. I'm really grateful!"
Star then suddenly turned to me with a smile.

"You're welcome." I replied as I go out the living room.

I see Quaza sitting on the couch with a sad look. He was staring at the floor with dead eyes.

"Uh.. Um. Quaza..?" I call out to him with a concerned voice.

He just continued to stare at the ground, silently.

Ok? well uh.. I pack my bags as I was about to leave.

"hey.. do you think.. I'm enough for him..?" he asked me with a cold, silent voice.

I look at him again and then the mood has totally changed.

"Do you think.. I'm not enough for him, Melt?
Why does he love his machines more than me?
I've been with him for so long. Why does it feel like our connection has been so.. weak?
Does he really love me, or does he have the heart of a machine?
Able to detect, but not to feel?
Am I just some useless person here?

Sorry Melt.. I know everything that's happening for you is all so sudden, and you really don't know much yet, but I just needed to vent out.. You can get out now.. forget what you've just heard." Tears fell down as he said all that.

I couldn't say anything back, because it's true, I don't know much yet. And I don't want to blabber out shiz that could be useless and irrelevant. I'd just be an annoyance.

I opened the door looking at him, then I left.

After I closed the door, I heard a voice from inside. I couldn't help but just listen to the conversation secretly.

"... Why did you say that to him?.."
Star asked.

So he was listening..

"I- I'm sorry.. I was just.." Quaza muttered as he was surprised that Star was listening as well.

"Quaza. You know I love you.. I'm sorry if I had all these projects, it's not my fault. But, I'm also sorry, for not giving you less notice and less attention.. I was just too busy.."
Star apologizes to him.

"S-Star.. you mean that..?" Quaza said as he stops crying.

"Yes, of course! I'll take talk to you more often from now on, okay? will you forgive me?" Star smiles at him.

"Yes.. I'm so happy!" Quaza replied with a happy voice.

"Hey.. Quaza, I have the perfect idea to spend this time together." Star whispered with a weird voice.

"Really? Let's do it!" Quaza replies.

Star pushes him to the wall as he leans in.

"S-Star?" Quaza says as he was confused what's going on.

"You look really cute when you're flustered..." Star whispered to him with a.. weird.. sexy voice.

"Mpph.. mhh" Quaza said with cute tiny voices as he blushes heavily, when they kiss-

Wait what- My body walks away on it's own to my room. I CAN'T CONTROL IT. NOT AGAIN!

Minus?! Is that you?? The heck are you doing?

Ok. We get inside our room, then we talk.
