Chapter six: Death

Danny has successfully restored his powers and found plenty more, he discovered he could control sea creatures heal wounds with water or summon a small army of water horses. Kayle, however, was beginning to feel a little down since he felt like the weakest member of the team but at the same time wondering how powerful he would become when he gained his full power.  Ash was in the library in the Olympian palace exploring every book ever written in the history of the world, the library also came with a rock like a hoop called the barrier breaker whatever page you put it over it would magically translate it into the language of the reader even brail or sign language.
Nicola was trying to find a way to restore the powers of Kayle and Ash the oracle stone shower the symbol of the trident, Olympus, and the ate to the underworld but she was confused since Kayle was in the palace of the gods on top of Mount Olympus he should have gained his power but she decided to search the palace for something she might be missing.
Athena was sitting on the Kings' throne in the middle of the Gods meeting room looking around at all the other thrones that belonged to the other Gods being reminded of all the good times and bad times the battles and fights they had. She heard footsteps she looked at the door which was the only entrance to the room and saw Nicola walk in and look around but for some reason, she did not notice the Goddess in front of her, Nicola was looking around the room Athena was curious so she did not say a word until she saw Nicola get on all fours looking behind Hades old throne.
-Athena "looking for something"
-Nicola "ARHHH" 
Nicola jumped and hit her head on the wall and Athena laughed 
-Nicola "that's not funny" 
-Athena "did you not see me?"
-Nicola "well there are no lights on" 
Athena looked around and it was indeed true she had spent so much time alone she had felt no need to light the torches and illuminate the palace so with a flick of her wrist the room was a glow 
-Nicola "wow impressive" 
-Athena "such things come with being a God"
-Nicola "listen I think Kayle's powers are hidden somewhere in the palace"
-Athena "straight to business I see no fooling around?"
-Nicola "the Gods need their powers if they want to save the world" 
-Athena "I don't know where his powers are or how he is going to get them back but what about you?"
-Nicola "what about me?"
-Athena "are you going to be the intercom girl your whole life?"
-Nicola "well I don't have any powers so I can't help"
-Athena "when we Olympian Gods fought the titans we were powerless but we received help in the form of weapons from being more ancient than us" as Athena said this a suit of armor walked in on its own and then it started breaking apart and attaching itself to Nicola, pieces shunt down to her size and fit on perfectly, every inch of her was covered apart from the face and the helmet had a beautiful line of blue hair on it just like the ancient Greeks and then and shield formed in her left hand and sword in her right. 
-Nicola "what's this?" 
-Athena "a gift from the Gods to you, its the only one of its kind its called the armor of the guardian it's indestructible as long as you wear it nothing can harm you or anyone you are protecting. Nicola, they may be Gods but they are not as wise or as smart as their previous forms guide them to glory" 
The armor disappeared and Nicola looked confused 
-Athena "don't worry it appears when you are in danger or if you simply will it" suddenly the light turned black, not off, but black. 
-Nicola "what's happening"
-Athena "Death" she stood up and went by Nicolas side as her armor activated, they stood back to back going in circles 
-Athena "show yourself  coward" evil laughter came from around the room
-Nicola "I thought Ash was the God of death"
-Athena "he might be the god of death but death is its own evil being causing devastation just so it could collect more souls for itself, there no worse evil then it" 
-Death "Athena you flatter me" Death was sitting on Arenas throne he looked like a teenager black hair with red highlights black nails leather gloves, pants, and jacket and decorated with chains" 
-Athena "who are you?" 
-Death "The three gods aren't the only ones that were reborn, I am a new death formally knows as Mike but I prefer my new title"
-Athena "impossible death cant die" 
-Death "the old death yes he is dead and I got his powers" as he said this a pair of wings appeared on his back and a scythe materialized in his hand "now tell me where is Hades?"
-Athena "I will never tell you"
-Nicola "what do you want with him"
-Death "I can't say, but lets put it this way I will make it painless for him"
-Nicola "in that case lets make it painful for him" Nicola threw her sword but Death deflected it with his scythe and smiled 
-Death "if its a fight you want its a fight you'll get" Athena pulled her spear out of thin air and stabbed Death right through the heart and he fell to the ground.
-Death "oh dear, it seems you might be trouble" so Death stood up as if nothing happened and raised his hand and a black mist came out of it and surrounded Nicola and Athena and the fainted on contact
-Death "its as you said my dear, nothing can kill death"

Ash came by the room hours later to find Nicola and Athena passed out on the floor 
-Ash "what happened here" he called Danny  and told him to come by with water this woke up Athena 
-Athena "Ash run he is coming for you"
-Ash "who?" Athena pointed passed him and said "him" and passe out again 
-Death "nice to meet you Hades"
-Ash "who are you?"
-Death "I am your humble servant reborn just like you, I am Death. And I'm here to kill you"
Danny was behind Death and the last part of the conversation and thrust his trident through Death and laughed, but he laughed slowly died away as Death turned smirked as he blasted him away with his dark magic then pulled his scythe out and stabbed Ash in the gut.
-Ash "why?"
-Death "I'm just following orders from my master"
Ash fell to the ground bleeding out all over the floor he saw Kayle come in and start fighting Death but it was too late everything went dark.
