Chapter four: Old Gods new world

A few days flew past since the incident at the graveyard Nikola had locked herself in her room furiously researching how to find the power of the three Gods on a similar note Ash was studying for an upcoming exam, Kayle and Danny couldn't make much noise in the house so they mostly spent their time out, either showing off their powers or just relaxing. 
Kayle was walking down the street when he heard a scream he turned his head to see smoke he flew over the buildings to see a huge apartment building on fire he flew to the ground in front of it to the firemen "is anyone inside?" he asked as he was hovering over them "just half the building" said a fireman when someone called Kayle from behind him "you take them out I take it out" he recognized the voice it was Danny  who was building up water from other building close by and the firetrucks.

Kayle got a gas mask from one of the firemen and flew in the building and he started getting people out a little girl, a dog, an old woman at some point it hard to keep track and Danny was strategically putting out the fire he didn't have enough water to put it out all at once and even if he did the building would collapse due to the pressure . Kayle bursting into peoples flats and grabbing whoever he could find and pulling them out of the windows. He knew that Zeus was the God of the skies and the weather so tried for a second to summon a rainstorm but nothing happened he flew down thinking to himself how important it was to regain his full power. 
Danny still putting out the fire ending the water up the stairs and through the windows soon most of the building was clear "any more?" Kayle asked the fireman who had a list of names in his hand " just a group of twenty or so people on the top floor" Kayle told Danny and flew up to the top floor and saw a family of people all hiding underneath tables and chairs.
"Don't worry I'm here to save you" they all came out and saw him levitating over the ground and they praised him he grabbed two of the small children that came up to him, sat one on each shoulder and went towards the window, until. 
The building shook for a second they all looked at each other they had no idea what happened but suddenly the floor started to lean the building was falling Kayle told everyone to hold on to something as he put the kids down he flew outside to see Danny sending all the water he had onto the side of the building so he could stop it, Kayle, using all his power pushed against the wall. it hadn't moved much but just enough to worry but then an explosion and the building started to fall again even the power two Gods wasn't enough to stop it, it was coming down but out of nowhere came the third Kayle saw two spirits appeared on Kayles each side he let go and looked around him and saw that the building was covered in spirits he flew to the ground to see Ash desperately holding the spirits in place "we have to let it fall hold it till I get the people out" he called to Ash and Danny and then to the firemen "clear the area the building is falling" Kayle flew as fast as he could back and forth bring out person after person while Ash and Danny where holding on for dear life as Kayle flew out the last person and flew her to safety. He looked around and checked that no one was around then he flew towards Ash and Danny who were on the verge of passing out grabbed them by their shirts flew as fast as was possible with two fully grown buffed men on each of his hand. The building fell in was coming closer and closer Kayle flew to the side and up over it and he saw the building crash to the ground. He flew Ash and Danny down to horde of cheering people screaming for them the police formed a circle around them as some news reporters came towards them "Hello gentlemen are you superheroes?" asked one of them "yes we are" said Kayle "what are your names?" asked another "we are Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus" said while pointing all of them out "what are your powers?" Danny was about to reply when a commotion started in the crowd when a bunch of men and women children wearing strange clothing all black covering most of their faces they seemed hurt "IT WAS THEM THAT DID IT SIR" yelled one man from the crowd " it's their kind that does these things to us" screamed another" taking our jobs and our lives rotten ain't they" the people that were on the ground seemed to be crying and begging for them to stop as the crowd was throwing things at them and the news reporters were firing away with their questions.
Ash summoned his spirits with all the energy he had left and surrounded the poor people that were visibly very upset.
"it's ok I'm here to help you," he said as he reached out to them. Danny came and helped them up trying to calm them down. the crowd booed them Kayle was looking around seeing all the people angry and got furious his eyes lit up and he let out a bellowing shock wave that made everyone quiet up and he said as loud as he could to make sure everyone could hear him
"how dare you, these people did nothing to deserve this, why are you doing this?"
there was silence until one woman spoke up "its cause their kind always do things like this, these people have blown up so many building killed lots of people" some people seemed to agree with her. Kayle looked at Danny and Ash who were in shock from what they just heard. Ash stood up "you should never judge someone by what they are you should get to know them first" then Danny took a stand with a tear in his eye "look at what you did to them" he pointed towards the people on the ground who were shaken to the core "you did this to someone who you didn't even know to someone who did nothing just because someone like then did something bad" he summoned a wave around him with fury as his eyes turned bright blue "tell should i kill all of you now?" the crowd was absolutely silent, Kayle grabbed Danny's shoulder  to calm him down, Ash came up from behind them carrying two of the people that were hurt "come one lets take them somewhere safe they each grabbed a person or two and took them to an ambulance.
After a long day in the hospital giving reports to the police and making sure everyone was ok they went home to the Robinson mansion only to find a not on the door saying how Nicola had to leave for a while due to "research" they went inside and opened the TV only to find themselves on the evening news "Reports of three men bearing the names of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades saved a local black of flats from a  devastating fire but then defended the offenders of the crime? we will be right back" "that's not true!' screamed Danny from the kitchen with half a banana in his mouth "we know" said Ash and Kayle who were both upset "you know you try and do one good thing" Kayle mumbled to himself Ash, however, thought out loud "they can't all hate us I mean we saved the building, didn't we?" Danny pulled up his phone showed a news article about them it read "Gods are here to kill us" " fantastic" said Kayle "let's order a pizza" he suggested "I don't feel like it' said Ash while Danny nodded in agreement "come on guys" Kayle tried to entice them "you are right we did save the day" at this they both turned and looked at Kayle "but everyone hates us" said Ash "they can hate us all they want but they are not going to stop us from doing the right thing" Danny and Ash looked alive again and full of energy "yeah you're right" said Ash 
"I see no reason why we shouldn't celebrate" added Danny 
"AND" Kayle stepped in "Nicola left us a credit card for "necessities" they all agreed.

Just a short while later they were knee deep in beers, chips, pizza, and heavy metal music 
"you know what?" said Danny as drunk as a skunk and he was considered the sobber and responsible one " I didn't know how much I could eat until I became a god" "yes nor did I and I was a fat kid" added Ash. 
-Danny "I didn't know that about you"
-Ash "come to think of it we don't know much about each other do we?"
-Kayle "no, no we don't. ill go first. I was skinny red headed and a total nerd"
-Ash "no way"
-Kayle "yes way I was totally into world of warcraft, league of legends, smite, pokemon,"
-Danny "well I think that's great. I was a spoilt rich kid"
-Ash "no Mr. humble here was rich?"
-Danny "yes my father owned a large company I went to privet school and everything"
-Kayle "so what changed you?" Danny looked a bit upset 
-Danny "well when I was young about ten or eleven my parents took on a Christmas holiday in America of all places, and we stayed in this five-star hotel and all that, on Christmas night we went to a very high-class restaurant to eat, we had the lot, lobster, roast pork, turkey but for a moment I went outside and saw a group of homeless people begging for money so I walked up to them and asked them why don't they go home to their family for Christmas. One man looked up at me and I'll never forget what he said "some of us don't have a home or a family to go too" it shook me, in a second my life changed I was looking at people that had nothing but at the same time I had more than I could ever wish for. From that night I promised that as long I have an extra penny I'll give it to someone who needs it more than me" Ash and Kayle were tearing up listening to his story as well as him but they were drunk so they ended up giggling.
-Kayle" so Ash what's your story?" Ash put the bottle down and being as drunk as he was he thought he should tell them before he regrets it.
"Well my life was pretty easy for a while for me and my brother until our parents went missing one night, my father was found dead in his car a few miles away from our home and we were forced to stay with our aunt. My brother was a teenager and I was about seven and she would hit us with her boyfriend, every day whenever they would fight they would beat us for what seemed like hours. But one day we had enough and we ran away, came to London where we joined a gang and they became our family since I was fat and short they didn't let me steal they just made me be on the lookout or mastermind a plan. Then I died and became what I am now but they were gone as well.."  Ash started crying Kayle and Danny tried to help him but after a few second his favorite song came on the playlist (NIrvana heart-shaped box) and he soon forgot about it 
-Danny "so Kayle tell us what your sorrow?" Kayle turned a bit pale he had nothing to compare with Ash and Danny his life was pretty fine. his parents were middle class he was a great student had a decently paying job. "Well I don't really have anything to tell you" he stumbled over to the window and looked out "I guess ever since I was a child I have dreamed of being a hero, you know saving people and all that. Inside myself, I always felt like there was something different about me but when I grew up I forgot all about it" they all laughed and spent the night singing and dancing and enjoying life until bedtime Danny fell asleep in the bath again, Ash on the floor, only Kayle reached his bed but he couldn't sleep he was thinking to himself "they have felt pain they deserve to be heroes, but why was I chosen?" but soon the thoughts emptied his head and he was fast asleep.

They awoke by a screaming coming from downstairs they all jumped out of their rooms towards it, they burst into the room to find Nicola with a suitcase she had just come back from where ever she was I'm sure she will explain soon but as soon as she saw them she covered her eyes, Danny forgot to put clothes on they gave him a blanket to cover himself up.
-Nicola "I'm am gone for a day and you managed to turn the world against you, tell me how? you what I don't want to know."
-Kayle "Wait, Nicola we saved a burning building," Nicola in the most sarcastic tone imaginable said
-Nicola "oh really how great you know what else you did? you alerted your enemies to not only your general location but you also awakened forces that had never idea that you were reborn but now they know and they will kill everything in their path to find and kill you" they all stayed silent waiting for someone else to speak. Ash and Danny looked at Kayle since he knew Nicola best they thought he could sort this out. When he saw them h shook his head but they just nodded at him Nicola is meanwhile just staring at them wondering what is going on.
-Kayle "well we couldn't just let those people die"
-Nicola"a lot more people are going to die when your enemies come back"
-Kayle "well you should have told us to keep a low profile"
-Nicola "Mr. Robinson thought that  if we told you day one what was going on none of you would have joined the team"
-Ash "tell us what was going on? Nicola fuming with anger told them
-Nicola "the world is going to end, and it's up to you guys to save it"
-Danny "you can't be serious?"
-Nicola "oh but I am, the tablet said so when the gods return so do other creatures from the ancient world giant monsters, cyclopses, dragons they all have something against you and worst of all" she paused considering if she should tell them about what was at stake "the Titans"
-Kayle "Nicola you've mentioned these titans before who or what are they exactly?" Nicola sighed at down and began to explain "before the Olympian Gods Titans ruled the world, they were bigger, stronger and faster than the Olympians but you but the Olympians outsmarted them they gather allies to trap them in the underworld in Tartarus,"
-Ash "so  when you say more powerful than us?"
-Nicola "way more powerful you don't stand a chance alone especially without your full power"
- Kayle "then let's get our power"
-Nicola "there is a problem with that" all three of the Gods waited for her to finish, she looked in their eyes and said "your powers have been stolen" then looked shocked, scared they didn't know what to do or how to react 
"by who?" asked Danny 
"by whom" replied Nicola "and we don't know about kayle and Ash but the bad news is that we know who took your power"
Danny took a step back and looked at Ash and Kayle who were both staring back at him.H took a deep breath faced Nicola and built up the courage to ask "whom stole my power?" Nicola replied "no you would use "who" there and, Oceanus stole your power" "who?" asked Danny
Nicola rolled her eyes and said "oh I give up, Oceanus is the Titan of the ocean you know the ocean that's named after him Oceanus, ocean" "ohhhhhh" they all said together 
-kayle "and where do we find him?"
-Nicola "at Poseidon's underwater castle he must be there" Danny faced Ash and Kayle and said "well team are you ready for an adventure?" they all nodded 
-Nicola "it's not going to be easy and quite possibly might be dangerous"
-Kayle "come on Nicola we are Gods how hard can it be? Nicola shook her head and giggled then said "well then you better get ready we are leaving tomorrow, but I should warn you we are making a quick stop first, there is someone I want you to meet"
-Ash "who and where"
-Nicola "we are going to mount Olympus and the other is a surprise"
