Wills POV:
I wish school would get over with so I could see Twelve again. I was in the middle of my math class. The worst class of the day. So boring. And really hard. Right now we were learning about dividing fractions and decimals. Ugh.
The bell finally rings as I relax my shoulders. This was the last class of the day.
I meet the party outside the school and we walk to Hoppers house. Eleven was able to go to school now, but at school we just call her Jane to divert attention. I wish Twelve could come to school with us.
We ride our bikes past Troy. He glares at us but after what Twelve did to him I don't think he'll be messing with us again anytime soon.
We finally reach Hoppers house. Hopper isn't home yet he works at the station till at the very least 6:00 pm.
Eleven knocks on the door in a unique pattern. It's how Twelve knows it's safe to open the door.
We wait a couple minutes before eleven knocks again. No answer. We all exchange nervous glances. Why isn't she opening the door. Eleven touches the door knob and turns it. It's unlocked.
We walk into the small living room, no sign of her.
We then walk into the kitchen. Then the bathroom. Then twelve and elevens room. She's not here.
Eleven bends down to pick something up on the floor, they look like two thick needles.
Eleven: "these weren't here before."
Mike and I glance at each other not sure what to make of it.
Mike: "let's call hopper."
15 minutes later:
Mike: "Hoppers on his way."
We are all sitting in the living room, wondering where she could be.
Dustin: "you don't think Brenner took her?"
Mike: "Dustin! Be quiet! Let's think positive thoughts! Maybe she just went for a walk or something and got lost."
I wasn't very sure of that. She's smarter than to walk out of the house alone.
20 minutes later:
Hopper finally arrives and comes through the front door looking worried.
Hopper: "so eleven what did you find again?"
Eleven held up the two thick needles. Hopper took them and examined them closely.
Hoppers face goes pale as he realizes what they are.
Will: "What are they?"
Whatever they are they can't be a good sign by the look on Hoppers face.
Hopper: "these are from a taser."
Our eyes widen except for Eleven. She doesn't know what it is.
Eleven: "What is-"
Hopper: "if you get shot with these needles, your whole body tenses up and you can't move."
Eleven looks scared.
Hopper: "they were here."
Mike: "they?"
Hopper: "yes them. Brenner and his goonies. They took twelve."
