Ingrid POV

The first few dresses I pick out are casual and not too showy or skanky. Yeah, Kat didn't like that very much.

She claimed that if I went out looking like that, they wouldn't let me in the club.

"Ok, this is your last chance. Pick out something I would like! Something sexy but glamorous too. Something club worthy!" Kat squealed, and gestured to a rack of super short dresses.

"Ew, these all look like something a hooker would wear!" I argued, but she just raised her drawn on eyebrows.

After screwing up my nose at several tight dresses with WAY too many cut outs, I finally settled for a medium length pastel purple dress.

It wasn't too risky, but I think Kat would approve.

In the dressing room, I pulled it over my head. It was a lot tighter on than it had looked on the rack, and I hadn't noticed before but it had a cut out back.

"Show yourself, bitch!" Kat giggled from outside the wooden dressing room door.

She was stilling wearing that gross leopard print skin tight dress.

"Give me a spin!" She said, while twirling her finger.

I faced away from her, so I could see myself from the front in the mirror.

The purple of the dress really brought out the greens in my eyes, and the pastelness matched my blonde hair.

"Huh, you have a butt!!" Kat exclaimed erupting into giggles.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. Of course I have a butt, doesn't everyone?

"Well, it's just that you don't really show it off. You usually look kinda.... Shapeless. But your obviously not. You have a really nice figure." She complemented but she did say I usually look shapeless so maybe it wasn't such a complement .

"Huh.. I think I'll buy the dress." I said, my hand touching the fabric. It was weirdly soft.

"Yay!" Kat cheered just as two guys walked past the dressing room.

"Dayum girl!!" The curly haired guy with the cute smile and hazel eyes whistled and his blonde friend nodded approvingly.

Kat ran her hands up and down the sides of the leopard print dress and giggled.

"Huh.. Oh, we were talking 'bout your friend in the purple there. If you got it, work it." The blonde smirked.

Kat looked at me, her hazel eyes wide and mouth slightly hanging open.

I felt just as shocked as she looked.

Kat was always the one guys checked out. It was never EVER me.

I felt my cheeks turn red.

Before I even saw, the curly haired one was slipping a piece of paper into my hand.

"Call me" he whispered into my ear and winked. Off him and his blonde friend left.

"Give me that!" Growled Kat, pointing at my hand.

"What..? No! He gave it to me!" I yelped

"What a bunch of losers! Don't call him! And you know what, don't buy this dress. It's not you." Kat said crossing her arms. There was a flashing look of jealousy in her eyes.

"No, I like it. And I won't call." I said slowly. I probably should. He picked me over her. But maybe I shouldn't call. I don't even know his name. But that look in Kats eyes. Oh, that look. It's the first time I've ever seen her jealous of me.

"Just hurry and pay then. I already paid for this dress while you were taking a year to get changed in the dressing room. I'll be waiting outside." She growled and stormed off.
