*Julianna's POV*
The sun shone through the trees as we all stood at the end of the dock, I smiled and held Andre's hand as dad raised the American flag on the flag pole. Once it was high in the sky he picked up Becky and held her on his hip and she held the once injured bird in her hands, as she raised her hands towards the sun the bird begun to flap its wings before taking flight. We all waved goodbye to the bird as he flew away before heading back to the lake house where I quickly ran into my room and grabbed a new set of clothes before entering the bathroom and changing.
When I left the bathroom I was wearing a teal tank top that tied at the bottom with a pair of colorful patterned shorts with teal sandals to match. I walked down stairs to see almost everyone stood waiting for the last few, when everyone arrived we headed out front to see a horse drawn carriage waiting for us. I squeaked when I was suddenly lifted up and placed in the carriage with Becky, when I turned I saw Andre standing below me with a smirk. I shook my head before I sat down and pulled Becky into my lap as Andre sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder.
After a long ride we finally arrived to the Fourth of July festival, after we had gotten a spot I discard my shirt, shorts and sandals because I had my bikini on underneath my clothes. I was wearing a green two piece with the top twisting in the front and three small hoops decorated the right side on the bottoms. When everyone dropped their stuff Andre, Greg and I headed out to the lake where a life guard seat sat in the water I swam out and sat there as the boys pulled in the blow up mattress the Greg spent blowing up all morning.
"Okay it's in position," Greg said as he and I set up the mattress at the bottom of the seat.
Andre hesitantly walked towards it as I held it still, "I don't know man this thing looks crazy," he said.
Greg had started climbing the ladder before turning to Andre, "C'mon I spent all morning blowing tat thing up," he moaned before continuing up the ladder.
"You should be alright babe," I stated as he climbed on the mattress before going up the ladder as well.
"Should?!" he accused.
I watched as he slowly crawled across the mattress, "Ready?" Greg asked causing him to look up and nod, "Go!" he called out as we held hands and jumped. When we landed on the end of the mattress Andre was sent flying into the air.
He screamed as he landed in the water before surfacing, "Let's do that again!" he yelled.
I smiled at him as he swam back, we had continued doing this for about an hour before I got tired and headed to shore and quickly dried off while sitting beside mom and dad's feet as they handed me a piece of watermelon when all of a sudden a man walked in front of us. "You really wanna do this Bailey?" Dad asked as four more men walked over and stood next to Bailey.
"My five against your five," he said holding a beer.
"Oh gods look at this, I see the boys are staying in shape," dad commented at the four slightly overweight men in front of us. Mom and I tried to hide our laughter but failed as she started to giggled. One of them burped, "Robideaux good to see you," dad said to a man who wasn't looking one way or the other.
"Lenny," he said.
Dad looked around, "If you're looking at me I don't know," he laughed causing everyone else to laugh, "Look fellas we're just gonna eat some watermelon and relax if you're alright with that," dad finished.
"Oh no it's not alright you're not gonna weasel your way out of this one Feder," Bailey said glaring slightly at Dad, "Wiley snuck out of intensive care to see you finally get some justice," he said as I looked over to where he pointed.
