Chapter 7

It was 7 pm and everybody was getting ready for the party by now.

It was almost a surprise to Leeteuk to find out that everyone he invited is actually attending.

And it was even more shocking to find people he never thought he'd see again.

Or people he doesn't know.

Well that wasn't really surprising he did announce that his attendees can invite anybody they could.

By the time it was 7:30 pm, Joohyun was done preparing herself, and was ready to shine that night. She got in her car and drove to the address that Jennie texted her.

She really didn't need it though, he still hosts parties in the same villa, like the old times.

When she got there it was already 8:35 and more people started gathering.

The guards didn't even ask who she is, no one is unfamiliar with Bae Joohyun. Once they saw her marching towards the gates, they quickly opened it.

She got in, head raised upward, getting more excited and more confident with every step she takes.

She feels a tap on her shoulder, she turns around elegantly to see who is brave enough to approach Joohyun in this place filled with enemies.

Yeri Pov

I couldn't believe myself.

Seungwan actually invited me to Leeteuk's party. I mentally and physically facepalmed at how smart that move was.

I wanted to decline but I don't know if she'll let me off the hook or not.

Gosh, I'll have to go then. I opened the group chat where me, Amber, Minseok and Jongdae are in and texted them.

Yeri: Y'all!!!!! I really need y'all to tag along for today's party!!

I waited for a while before my phone beeped.

Jongdae: A party? where?

I quickly texted him the address.

Minseok: Leeteuk? isn't that the famous businessman for companies I don't really understand?

Yeri: Yes, it's that complicated ass person

Amber: Wow Yeri, you get invited to such parties and is friends with such people? snob

Yeri: Unnie! it ain't like that really 😩 Listen, it's just that a friend of mine invited me and I am scared to go alone

Jongdae: but you have that friend

Yeri: No!!! you don't understaaaand!!!

Jongdae: then explain, Yeri

Yeri: listen it's umm, complicated really, she wants me to come and as much as I trust her I am still afraid and I need you guys to come.

Minseok: fine, when is it?

Amber: the baby needs to sleep early?
