"I love how you always fail at this game, Joohyun" Yeri said, I pouted and they all laughed, "It's okay you can always try again, sweetie" Sooyoung said from beside me while patting my back gently. Sooyoung was always such a sweetheart to everyone, that's what made her so lovable among people.

"Aww our sweet joy~" Seungwan said. We loved calling her 'Joy' since she has this ability to make everyone happy, especially us, her closest friends.

"I hope you stop bullying me about it, you and Yeri are always mean to me in a way" I said while pouting.

"Oh my god stop pouting Joo, you don't look cute" Seungwan said.

"Shut up" She rolled her eyes and we played one more round. Our days were always joyful and fun, they made me feel special and loved, never failed to cheer me in my bad days.

But now, they are gone.

I woke up crying from that dream, Why do I have to remember Sooyoung and Seungwan now?

"Joohyun, I washed your old clothes--" Yeri entered, I quickly wiped my tears but she'd already caught me anyways.

"Joohyun what's wrong?" She put my clothes on a chair next to the vanity table and came closer to sit next to me and look me in the eyes.

"I just had a dream about our days with Joy and Wendy" I said and silence filled the room.

I couldn't read Yeri's expression, I know she's sad but her expression was different.

"They're in a better place now, Joohyun" She said and held my hands tightly.

"Thanks for washing my clothes" I said.

"It's nothing, really"

"My legs feel a bit better than yesterday" I said, cheerfully moving the rest of my toes.

"Oh! you can move the rest now!" I nodded while Yeri looked contented with such news.

"I can also move my legs but the movement is just not easy at all" I frowned when I moved my right leg and it pained me.

"Do you want to train?" Yeri suggested.

"Train?"

"Yes, train your legs to walk. It's been 5 years and you haven't tried it that's why you can't move, but you can in fact move" She explained. "I don't get it" I said right away.

She sighed and started explaining further, "They'd normally train you to walk after the surgery"

"Oh, that" I gave it a second of thought. I never really thought I would undergo any surgery, I've never had one before and I was always afraid of having one, I don't think this surgery would've happened if I was informed beforehand.

Being unconscious for 5 years has it's perks.

Yeri stood at the end of the room, "Okay, Joo, all you need to do really is just try and walk to me, but take it easy, hm? don't rush it" She informed me.

"What if I can't or what if I fall?" I imagined all the ways I could fail at this.

"Why am I here then? Just move and worry about nothing"

I inhaled and stood up then exhaled, removing all my worries for now and only focusing on one goal.

Getting to Yeri.

I took a one step and nothing happened, I didn't fall or feel pain in my legs.

I was very happy that I kind of took the next steps a bit faster and fell down.
