Joohyun Pov

I was on my way to my school in my car, feeling a bit anxious as I remembered that it's the finals season. I was a senior in Haknam highschool.

I thanked our driver who was also the house's guard before getting off the car. I saw how everyone had similar expression, I could feel their anxiety. We were all miserable at some point.

At that time, I met with Yerim whose also a highschool student and one of my closest friends.

She was a freshman student in highschool so she still had a long road to come to mine.

"Good luck with your exams, Joohyun, I know you want to become an actress" Yerim said with a smile. I smiled back and hit her shoulder gently, "Yah, that was a far fetched dream anyway" I said.

"But I know you're still considering it" She replied.

"You know too much, Kim Yerim"

"Are your parents still on that business trip from a week ago?" She asked.

"Yes" I said with a deadpan.

"I am sorry, want me to stay tonight?" She requested which made me pinch her cheeks.

"You don't have to, I'll be fine" I assured her.

"Joohyun! Let's go, the first class is about to start" I heard Seulgi's voice from afar.

Yerim waved at her which made Seulgi come all the way to greet her.

"I'll get going too, see you later girls" Yerim said before leaving.

Seulgi came up to me and held my hand, "Don't be like that, Joo, we'll hang out tonight at your house" She said.

"How did you know?"

"Best friends telepathy" She smiled and pulled me up.

It makes me really warm that Seulgi understands how I feel without having to express it.

She just knows and understands.

When the day came to an end, Seungwan and Seulgi approached me, "We'll call Yerim and Sooyoung, we're all coming" Seulgi said.

"You really don't have to, girls, I am fine" I said.

"Bullshit" Seungwan said.

"Stop acting tough and let us accompany you" Seulgi added.

"I am tough, Seulgi, but that's not the point" I hesitated to continue.

"What is?" Seungwan asked.

"I just want..to be left alone tonight, can we do it tomorrow?" I finally got out.

"It's okay, Joo, we understand. We'll hang out tomorrow then" Seulgi said. They both hugged me before we walked our separate ways.

I got in my car, heading back home. I opened the car's window, feeling the wind blow my hair, it was pretty refreshing.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for my friends whom genuinely wanted to cheer me up but I just wanted to be left alone. I also can't help how introverted I've always been.

At least they understand.

When I was home, I thanked the driver again before I got off. I left him park the car and headed inside
