Chapter 12

Joohyun Pov

It's been 2 months since everything that happened. From Leeteuk's party, Krystal's death, Yeri and Wendy's traumatic incident, my dinner with Sehun to finally, Hyo running away from me.

To where? I've been looking all that time, can't even find a trace of her.

And unsurprisingly enough, I can't find her sister either. Which is another issue, since I can't at least take her hostage to lure Hyoyeon to me.

I don't have anything to do with Taeyeon personally, but she's such an interesting bait for Hyoyeon.

But aside from that, Yeri and Wendy finally recovered. Even so, I am concerned that Yeri suffers mentally from the trauma, which I can't blame her for.

Luckily, Minseok is always by her side when I am not around, despite breaking my trust, I still know it wasn't intentionally.

Only one left from all that. Junmyeon. I haven't heard anything about him for these 2 months.

I decided to leave the hotel and stay beside Yeri. Though, I know it's a dangerous move.

It's especially a dangerous move now since every gang in South Korea know I am still alive and out there.

If you thought my only enemies were my own gang, you were mistaken.

"I made breakfast" Yeri said, calling for me to sit on the table next to her.

"I said you don't have to cook breakfast, Yerim" I said, sitting next to her.

"I am just really happy you're back here, don't ever leave. It was really lonely here" She said, flashing me a sad smile afterwards.

"I am sorry about that, I was selfish and stupid to leave you. I was scared that any of them could hurt you forgetting that leaving you is far worse than staying here" I explained.

"It's okay, Joo, no one can hurt me when you're still alive. Oh, and also, you're the most badass person I've ever known. I never doubted your strength but seeing you fight still amazes me. You never changed" She said excitedly.

I smiled at the way she spoke highly of me. Her praises always boosts my self esteem.

"You were amazing for handling all that and staying strong like you always do, Yerim" I patted her shoulder. At times like these, I feel like her mother.

"I am always trying to be, thank you Joohyun" She said.

The cute moment we had was interrupted by the loud knocking on the front door.

"Who's that rude idiot?" Yeri said, frowning.

I got up to check whoever is knocking, to my surprise, it was Jongin.

"Hey bitch" He said before throwing a punch at me. I fell to the ground from the sudden attack, the loud thud dragged Yeri to see what's going on.

At that moment, Jongin got out a glock 41 out of his gun holster.

"Get out of here, Yeri, he's armed!" I said quickly before standing up and running behind the couch.

He was already shooting frantically when Yeri ran upstairs to god knows where.

"You thought you could get away with killing Taemin and Krystal? Do you know how long I was waiting to do this to you? It's time for you to die for real" He said viciously.

"You still remember that? Gosh get over it, you all killed my husband, my best friend and ruined my whole wedding day, the day that should.." I said, feeling a lump in my throat.
