Chapter 10

It was early in the morning when Seulgi met one of her dear friends that she knew for 7 years now at starbucks. Her friend is a really good listener that makes her pour everything out comfortably, she gives her advises on how to deal with certain situations which helped Seulgi a lot in the past.

"I hate that I had to suffer both Joohyun's actions and Hyoyeon's words. I am not supposed to feel that way about her words because it contradict every reason for me to hate Joohyun" Seulgi spilled out.

"You know Seulgi, I think after listening to all that, I know damn well that you do in fact know why you feel that way but you're in denial" Her friend said.

"What do you mean?"

"You know Hyoyeon's words are right but you just want to act like it's not which still hurts you"

"Moonbyul ah, are you some sort of a psychiatrist? Why do you act like that?" Seulgi mocked her friend and looked away. Moonbyul glued her gaze at Seulgi which eventually made Seulgi uncomfortable.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Seulgi asked, looking back at her. "You're funny"

"Because?" Seulgi replied. "You reject every answer that's given to you" Moonbyul said right away.

"Because it's not what I want to hear" Seulgi looked away again, sipping on her coffee.

"Exactly" Moonbyul ended the conversation, looking out the window they're seated next to.

The hotel room was lit up with sunshine, breaking through the windows of the room. By that time, Joohyun had woken up and was done with washing her face, preparing breakfast and getting dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and a plain white shirt.

She didn't bother with her hair, just brushing it before letting it down, long enough to pass her shoulders down to the center of her back.

She kept the plans of today on her mind all night. Luckily, she got some decent sleep out of it.

She walked outside of the hotel to buy some snacks for herself from the hypermarket. The meeting with Sehun is supposed to be at 7 pm and it's now 1 pm so there was still 6 hours before meeting him.

Six hours is too much and Joohyun is not very patient. She is eager to know what will happen. She puts in her mind the chance that this could be one massive trap for her, since he was very close to Junmyeon.

But she's fearless, she will face anyone and anything, she won't feel the slightest bit of worry towards anyone.

Besides, she was out of it for 5 years straight, who knows? maybe something gone wrong between them and now that Sehun knows she's after Junmyeon and the whole gang, he might want to tag along? Joohyun thought how funny and thrilling that would be.

Joohyun bought the snacks and returned back to her hotel room, munching on the potatoe chips when her phone rang. She glanced at the clock before answering and noticed that an hour had already passed.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Joohyun" A female voice was heard from Joohyun's phone. "Who's this?"

"I am Jisoo, Jennie's best friend" Jisoo said with an optimistic tone.

"Oh, hey Jisoo" Joohyun felt a little awkward as she obviously didn't know the girl but she sounds nice and she's Jennie's friend too.

"You sound like you don't remember me but I used to hang out with you and Jennie sometimes 5 years ago and even before" Jisoo said, her tone hasn't changed at all.
