Ori was sleeping soundly until they felt something touch them.It felt like...a hand.Being tired,Ori only opened their eyes for a little while and saw a glimpse of a person.Or was it a monster waiting to harm them?Whatever it was,it could talk.Ori was only awake for a few seconds until they fell asleep again. Then they heard a voice."Hey little guy.."A voice said.Ori knew for sure that the voice wasn't familiar.Being curious but tired and really wanting to sleep,Ori opened their eyes all the way to look at what was talking to them.It was a human.Ori had never seen a person before. The spirit got up and slowly walked around the guy."You're awake now."The guy said.He was holding an umbrella to avoid getting wet.It was raining now."I uh...found you here...and...I don't think you have a home.I also don't even know what you are so...oh wait!"The guy said.He went into his bag and Ori watched him.He pulled out some fruit, than held them out to Ori."You can have some little guy,If you want."The human seemed nice towards Ori,but the spirit couldn't help taking some of the fruit.Ori couldn't talk, but if they could, they'd say something.
On the guy's bag was a name tag.It read "Nathan".Nathan's eyes locked with Ori's.Nathan noticed and looked away quickly."I'm sorry..it's just that your eyes creep me out.."He said with a chuckle.Ori had eaten a entire strawberry, but not the plant part.It reminded Ori of one of the Life Cell Plants from back home.Ori looked up into the sky.
There were clouds. It had also stopped raining.

Ori was starting to think that this place wasn't so much more different than home.Ori looked back at Nathan, who was checking his phone.Ori became curious and walked up to him.The spirit touched his phone lightly.Than they heard a "click" sound.Nathan smiled."Don't worry,I've only taken a picture.I take pictures on weird stuff that happens lately around the city, and I'm assuming that you aren't from here and you're lost."Ori looked at Nathan and thought that he talked a lot.To their surprise, they could understand this person.Words and all.Nathan's phone vibrated and he stood up."Looks like I gotta get going, but you can come with."Nathan said as he picked Ori up.He started walking with Ori.The Spirit Guardian could walk on their own just fine, but they accepted anything from this person. They were alone after all.Nathan lead Ori to a school campus."Little dude, this is my school. You might find me here sometimes."Nathan said with a sigh.He continued walking for about 10 minutes when he reached his house."Here's my house. You can stay here with me and maybe we could learn more about you."Nathan continued as he went through his hair with his hand.Nathan went inside and someone called him.It was his mom.He put down his bag, along with Ori and went to where his mom was. What was Ori supposed to do?The spirit started to wander upstairs. They came across a hallway and at the end was an open door.As they went to investigate, they heard talking in a room, but the door wasn't open.Ori continued down the hallway until they ended up at the bathroom. As they managed to squeeze by the door, they looked around.Ori climbed onto the toilet and up onto the sink.It was a bar of soap nearby. As they went to pick it up,Nathan was coming down the hallway. He entered the bathroom and saw Ori standing on the sink."There you are..."Nathan picked Ori up and placed them on his shoulder."Let's not get used to the bathroom just yet. This is your new home little dude,so get comfy until I figure out a name for you."Nathan said as he sighed and headed to his room. Now Ori had a home, for now at least.
