It was a cold night...
Many cold nights happened, but this one was especially colder than usual.Ori was having trouble sleeping,so they decided to go outside to get some fresh air.Knowing that Sein was gone,Ori felt a little lonely going places. They knew they had Naru and Gumo, but Sein had been with them for their entire adventure. Now Sein is gone.Ori started walking to stay awake. It came to their attention that they were only going on a walk and they were to return home when done.Ori had trouble seeing. They knew where they were though.A gust of wind went by.When Ori started to block the wind from their face, they didn't know about the hole in front of them.Ori fell down but reacted fast enough to jump off a nearby wall and land on the ground safely. The fall had woken them up.Ori saw something in front of them.It was a Spirit Well.Ori was very familiar with these.Spirit wells could be used by Ori and Sein together. They also restored all health and energy, but Ori didn't know anymore uses for their energy without sein and spirit flame. However, this spirit well was missing a place for sein.Ori climbed up into the well and decided to use it.Ori started to "Warp".Some time later, they ended up in some strange place. It was raining. The spirit well had also stopped flowing water.Ori had never seen this happen. Was it broken?Ori needed to investigate, but they didn't know where.Ori looked around and saw an assortment of buildings. They weren't familiar at all,and they didn't look like the Forlorn Ruins that they explored when they restored the winds to Nibel. The spirit well was high up,so Ori started to climb down to the lower ground. This wasn't Nibel. It was someplace else.Ori started to walk when they noticed that they didn't have any food.Ori held their stomach. They were lost and hungry and it wasn't good.Ori layed down under a big tree and drifted off to sleep.
