Misplaced~An Ori Story

Chapter 4-Violet's Classes

The group made it to the park in about 10 minutes.Ori was running freely.They jumped three times in a pace and flipped on the third jump.Louis watched and ran over to Ori."That was cool Ori,but since you're kinda light,flipping is easy.What else can you do?"He said with a smile.Ori smiled back and started to glow.Ori was using Charge Jump.They jumped and they went high into the air.Louis looked up in amazement.Sam looked too, than she sat on a nearby bench.Nathan was on his phone.Louis came over to him after he was done with Ori."Um..what are you doing?"He asked."I'm just on my phone.No need to worry."Nathan replied."Why are you on your phone at the park?Aren't you at least going to have fun?"Louis said with a frown on his face.He worried that his brother would always be on his phone.Louis thought for a second before taking his phone.Nathan jumped up in a second."Louis,give that back."He said."I can't man.You spend way too much time on your phone.I want you to enjoy the outdoors!"Louis said as he took a step back.Ori walked over to them and stared."I do enjoy the outdoors!I literally took a walk around 3 hours ago and that's when I found Ori!"Nathan was yelling now.Violet came up to them."Stop arguing!Louis,give him the phone.I have to get to my classes now."She said.Sam came over."And Nathan,you can't bring other people into your arguments.."She said."Ori isn't a person.It's...a...I don't know.."he said with a shaky voice.Ori didn't like this.Violet walked away and mumbled something.It sounded like two words."Crist..." was the only thing Ori and the group heard.Sam picked Ori up."Let's leave these two alone."She said as she started to walk away as well.

An hour later...

Sam had taken Ori to her dorm at school.It was relatively quiet.Ori looked around her room.They'd noticed that this was the same building that Nathan showed them.Sam sat down on her bed and let Ori down on the floor."Ori...that's your name.I didn't want you to be involved in all that...you wouldn't like Nathan when he's mad.It doesn't turn out well."She said as she looked over at her laptop on her desk.A flash drive was sticking out.Sam jumped up from her bed."Oh crap.Ori,I have Vi's flash drive and her project is on it.I need to give it to her,but I have to do something important.Can you go give it to her?"Sam said as she took it out of the laptop and held it out for Ori.An Objective for Ori.They took the drive slowly."Thanks.To find Violet,follow the signs to a place called the library,ok?"She continued.Ori didn't-Couldn't reply.Sam opened the door for them and they left out.Ori started to look for their first sign.There was one down the hall.Ori turned around and looked at Sam's room number.It was 219.They had to remember it to know where to return to.Ori started to head down the hallway when a person passed them.A guy.He had dark black hair and red eyes.Ori only looked at him for a second and they were a little spooked.At the end of the hall,Ori followed the sign,making them go down the stairs.Another sign was there,and it said to go down again.Ori followed it.There was one last sign,and this one said to go to the left.The library was in sight now.Ori continued walking and eventually got there.The door was open.They entered inside and started looking for violet.While looking,they heard her voice.Ori went down a path in between two large bookshelves.It was fine at first until they heard someone.They said "Watch out!" as the bookshelf to Ori's right started to fall.Ori's first instinct was to Dash and that's what they did.It was safer going back the way they came.Ori layed on the floor and eventually got up.They knew if they got crushed,they would've died.It seemed similar back home,most things would try to crush Ori and kill them.Ori went around again and eventually made it to Violet.She was sitting with another guy.He was wearing glasses.She didn't seem very happy at all.There was a computer in front of her,but it wasn't on.Ori touched her leg to get her attention.Violet looked down and saw Ori.She smiled."Hey Ori,what are you doing here?"She asked.Ori put the hard drive on the desk."You came to give this to me?Thanks Ori,I need this for a project."She said as she picked Ori up and put them on the chair next to her.Ori looked at the guy across from them."Ori,this is Eric.Eric,this is Ori."Eric seemed bored."Wow..this is a strange species..."Eric said."Well,we don't even know what Ori is.Nathan found him a while back."Violet said."It's male?"Eric asked."I think so."Violet said.Ori was staring at Eric at this point."I saw Ori approach you."He said."Yeah?What's your point Eric?"Vi asked."He..has hooves for feet."Eric said as he adjusted his glasses."Well...everyone's unique in their own way."She said as she put the flash drive in the computer."If I can remember,Sam's taking care of you right now.You should head back to her dorm..."Violet said.Ori stopped looking at Eric.They reached the door and looked back at Violet and smiled.Violet smiled back.
