"Send the Luna my regards." Marke stated.
Philippe nodded his head and entered the car after waving goodbye. Denim watched as the car drove off. The former marine was bound for a flight after Marianne left. Denim, too, wanted to visit their Luna but after the Blood Moon, a lot of getting used to was subsequent to her new body. Her family has been helping her get used to the change. Her hunger was predominantly the problem and with her lover's overprotectiveness, she was restricted from consuming human blood which was an easier solution. They couldn't go against Marke's instructions so once Philippe left, Haram escorted Denim back to their house. Now the he was Beta, Marke's assistance was required in handling affairs of the pack.
"If you are in need of anything, the twins will be around the house." Haram stated after walking her to her room.
"Thank you." Denim smiled as she headed to her bed. They had been hunting animals the night before and while sleep was not a necessity to vampires, Denim found it necessary to relax her muscles. Sleeping was a convenient way to let daytime pass to vampires however the Lubovs were granted enchanted auxiliaries. They can move during the day and they're privileged to have such luxury.
"We're family. No need to thank me, Miss." Haram smiled.
"Yet you call me 'Miss'."
"Touché."
They both laughed before Haram nodded his head and closed the bedroom door. Denim allowed herself to rest for two hours or so before she got up. She changed her clothes and applied light make up to mask her pale skin and reflect her vibrant character.
"Good morning or is it noon already?" Denim greeted her sister, Catalina, who too just got out of her bedroom.
Catalina shrugged. "We can wake up any time of the day and I couldn't care less."
Denim shook her head. Catalina was playful with her words but she's a very responsible woman. She was actually a feminist activist during her time. It was her ill-fated mouth that brought her to her doom but her vision for the future is what convinced her Sire, Marke, to revive her. Once her campaign won, Catalina left her old life and ventured with the Lubovs as they moved from one continent to another.
They descended the stairs and found the twins playing a zombie game on the console. Catalina rolled her eyes as she informed Denim she was going to the pack house. Six, the Lubovs were now decreased to half ever since they left Bathory's castle. Denim hoped for the best as she didn't want to lose anyone anymore but one could only hope especially in their world.
"How's your sleep?" Alex asked after noticing Denim.
"Good. Please don't tell me I have to go hunt again tonight. I don't think I can take anymore of Haram's rigorous training." Denim whined.
The twins laughed at her. They were the closest to her age and they understood her very well. They had went through the same training and hated every bit of it but it's what crafted them to the man they are now and they were thankful.
"I think you'll be fine. One of the Delta's territories is expecting an attack and they'll be needing our assistance." Axel responded.
"Let me guess, I'm not part of this 'our assistance', am I?"
"Your body's still adapting to the changes." The twins spoke in unison.
"Fine. I'm sure Gwen and I can watch something later tonight." Denim brushed the topic aside.
The twins nodded their head before they went back to their game. Denim shook her head and headed for the door. Maybe she'll find something to do at the pack house. Using her heightened speed, she sped to her destination and stopped when she saw Gwen got out of the car. The redhead had just arrived from school.
