It was rainy and it was cold,
But I saw her there standing so bold.
She gave me a butterflies a ton of them too,
The minute i saw her there was a brighter hue.
I looked into her eyes as she looked into mine,
I really longed for never ending time.
Her pretty face was saved in my mind,
She often regrets it but she is too kind.
We soon became friends for a very long while,
As she would come watch me run several miles.
I soon developed a bit of love,
Not wanting to force a relationship instead my friends gave a shove.
She soon knew about my affection,
So I told her she was beyond perfection.
She soon agreed to finally be mine,
I told her it must have been a sign.
Although in person we act pretty shy,
We promised each other we'd never lie.
I will never let her go,
Even if we have arguments that end in "I told you so".
She is a beauty beyond compare,
And I won her her heart fair and square.
