NARUTO's POV
"Hey guys... you ready?" I called from downstairs
"We're coming daddy" Boruto said as he walk down the stairs followed by Hinata who's carrying Himawari
"We're here" Hinata said cheerfully
"Alright... let's get going then" i said as i opened the door for them
"Hey Maku, take care of the house while we're gone... thanks" i said through my beeper
"My pleasure sir" he replied
We quickly descended off to Sasuke's place where we'll have a dinner
It's actually a dinner welcoming Sarada which is the private part so only us, the close one only and tomorrow is another one for friends and relatives
"Hey Dad... what's inside this?" Boruto said pointing at the big box in a gift wrapper
"That's a secret boy" i said looking at his present in his hand
"What about that in your hand?" I asked
"I-it's... It's also a s-secret" he said putting in his back
We laughed with what he did and i just asked a few questions until he said what he planned for Sarada while he watch her grow up
I guess i can Ship them haha
We arrived at Sasuke's place and parked the car
"Took you long enough" he greeted at us
"What... can't we make a grand entrance?" I joked
"Hn. Your family is last to arrive" he said as we enter the door
"Here" i handed him the gift
"A gift?" He asked
"When did you know how to gift?" He asked so confused
"Hey! Hinata and i picked that up... if you don't want it I'll give them to my maids" i said jokingly
"Yeah yeah... get inside dope, thanks for this Hinata" he said
"Hey i help pick that up too" i said but he just left
"Oh come on Naruto-kun. You know he's joking... let's get inside" Hinata said pulling my hands
"Come on kids" i called them and they followed
When we arrived inside, the place was a little decorated and well you can smell foods
"Finally we can eat" i heard choji remarks
"Yeah... i know I'm also hungry" i said anf we all went to a long dinner table
Sasuke made a little speech for thanking us and for Sarada's coming into his life and Sakura slo did made a Long speech until choji said he's hungry and faced Sakura's fist
The long night was coming to and end when we were telling stories of our college days
Turns out Hinata knew Everybody in college because we were a group of elites but she was so silent that we didn't knew her until i met her and we became a thing secretly
And she was hiding the fact that she's a Hyuga at first till i found out and we somehow fought about it but i also did hid my identity thatvi was an Uzumaki then we made up
I think i forgot to tell the group that my girlfriend was a Hyuga so nobody knows until the accident and we forgot everything
"I'll just go upstairs to check on the kids" i suggested and they nodded
I went to the room where the kids were playing. I sae Himawati with Chou-Chou sleeping in a bed while Shikadai was playing chess with Inojin
But I didn't see any shadow of Boruto
"Where's Boruto?" I asked at the two boys
"Dunno, uncle" Inojin said innocently
"Maybe he wondered around somewhere" Shikadai replied focusing on the game
"Oh ok. Thanks" i said leaving the two and putting on a blanket to Himawari and Chou-Chou
I left the room decided to go Room to Room but before opening any room i heard a humming from a room farther from here
I saw a open room and as i get closer the humming was becoming clearer and a little louder
"Hmmm hmmm hmmm" it was Boruto who's humming
"Boruto" i called in a whisper
"D-dad" he said a little surprised
"What are you doing here? You'll wake her up" i said walking a little closer to him while he rock the little hammock where Sarada was laying
"I saw her here... And i thought it was lonely because no one was with her" he said as he looked at her
"She's not lonely, boy. She was just sleeping" i said sitting besides him, i saw that little present he had earlier, it was a ring in a necklace. He put it around her neck but since it's not meant for baby it was too loosely
"Yeah... but what if she wakes up and no one was to see wouldn't she feel lonely then?" He asked looking at me
"Let me tell you something Boruto, when you were born, you're just like her, I also couldn't leave you both your sister at the time... because i also felt the same, i thought wouldn't my kids feel lonely if i leave them for a while?" I said picking him up and sitting him in my lap
"But your grandmother said; it's okay to leave them be, because that's how you grow... being alone makes a person's kind clear but when you know they need a company, that's when you enter and let them feel they're not alone" i said fixing he's hair
"And that's why, while both you and your sister grows up, i sometimes leave you, and focus on work, but at the end of the day I'll come back and give you both kisses with love at night before sleeping" i said and he smiled
"Ahh now i know Dad... thanks a lot, I'll do that, i will give her, her time but will aslo make her feel not lonely" Boruto said, and somehow i felt proud knowing he thought about that
And the time to leave their house came, both the kids were sleeping in the car while i was driving with hinata who's eyes are already feeling heavy
"You know you can sleep for now right?" I said to her
"Y-yeah but i don't want to for now" she said rubbing my shoulder
"Ok. I understand, I'll drive us home then" i said getting a little faster
When we got home i carried the twins with hinata following
She opened the door for me and we enter. After tucking in the twins we went to our rooms and changed and layed on the bed until i got a call
"I'll just get this Honey" i said kissing her forehead and then getting out of the room and going to my office and answered it
"How is it?" I asked
"Everything is almost ready but we need you to check some things tomorrow, so i called just to tell you" Sai said
"Ok. Thanks i'll also send some files to you now" i said and getting into work mode
