HINATA's POV
I'm getting worried. Naruto has been staying up for most of the night after that welcome party, ever since he answered that phone call he started acting weird.
He would just greet us when he come home from work or even if he's just staying home and we, the kids come home from school, the same thing happens almost everyday and it's making me worried
He looks tired, bags under his eyes and his beard is starting to show, even right now, he's talking on his phone. We were eating when Mako suddenly gave his phone that's been ringing
".... ok, i know... I'll be there" he said and hanged the phone, he kissed the kids and kissed me in the cheeks
"I'm going out for a while" is all he said and he just left like that, in a shirt and short
I run upstairs and took his favorite sweater then run to him but i only managed to catch Mako who's running after him
"MAKO! please give this to him, he might catch a cold" i said to Mako throwing the sweater and him catching it just in time when they sped up
"Mommy... where is daddy going?" Himawari asked when she suddenly appeared behind me
"He's just gonna work" i replied carrying her back to the kitchen where boruto didn't finished his food
I was tucking them in when Boruto suggested an Idea
"Mommy, since you'll be sleeping alone, why don't we sleep with you, since dad is not home" he said making sense
"Well... sure why not, I'd love to sleep with both of you" i said as they both jump from bed and run towards the room
We three were already laying on the bed and i was between them
"Good night Mom" the two said and i kissed their foreheads and they both slept

I was awoken when i heard the door closed. I stood up carefully trying not to wake the kids and went outside. I went to Naruto's office and saw the door open, i went inside and i heard the shower inside running
*Ringggg
*Ringggg
*Ringggg
I looked where the ringing tone was coming from an old silver flip phone

Was the caller ID, i was hesitating to answer it first but then i was about to press the answer button but the ringing stopped just in time when the shower room opened
"Hinata?" Naruto called and i slowly put the phone down without him seeing i was holding it and faced him
"H-hi...?" i greeted
"Uhh Hello...?" He asked confused
"I mean... what are you doing here? Weren't you sleeping?" He asked drying his hair
"Well i was awoken suddenly and saw your office open, hoping you were here" i said taking the towel from him and drying his hair
We stayed in silence until i finished drying his hair
"Aren't you gonna ask where was i?" He said taking the towel from me and throwing it away and held my waist
"W-well... you wouldn't even tell me if i asked" i replied removing his hands from mine
"Hmm... that's not the Hinata i know" he said walking closer as i stepped backward falling on his couch
"I-i-i don't know what you're talking about" i said avoiding his gaze
"Hahaha" he laughed suddenly making ne cringe from his sound and when i looked at him he caught my lips, kissing me wildly and i pushed him away
"Why?" He asked as i managed to get away
"I haven't brushed my mouth, i just woke up"i replied but he pulled my hand making me sit on his laps
"Don't worry, i don't care about that" he sajd kissing me again
But i still pushed him away this time his face is confused. I pushed him with too much power making him fall from above me
"What the hell?" He suddenly spat standing up from the floor
"I-im sorry Naruto-kun, are you alright? Are you hurt?" I asked scattering from my place and coming close to him
"Please... go to the room and sleep, i have much work to do" he said in a different tone as he walk towards his chair and started scanning papers to papers
"Are you really alright? Do you want me to get you a coffee?" I asked walking close to him but i suddenly flinch when he slammed his hand on the table making a loud thud sound
"I said. Go. To. The. Room" he said with much indent on each word
I couldn't even speak from the tension, instead i run to the room but stopped halfway realizing the kids were there so i run downstairs and went to one of the guestrooms and locked myself there and cried myself to sleep
NARUTO's POV
{Dinner}
I'm sitting in the middle of a long table with the kids and Hinata, we were silently eating, i wanna ask them how'd their day go but another thought would come making me focus on that till i heard a feint ringing that's suddenly getting loud then saw Mako running with the Silver Flip Phone ringing in his hands
"Sir..." Mako gave it to md and i answered as soon as i saw the caller ID
"Naruto... we need you, the Head is asking about your plan and i don't know what to do... oh and i just recieved the file we've been looking for" he said in a silent voice but i still could hear him
"Ok... i know, I'll be there" i said standing up from the table and giving the kids and Hinata a kiss on the chick
"I'll be going out for a while" was all i said running towards the door while Mako was preparing the Car i told him to drive and saw Hinata Threw my Sweater to him as he sped off but still Mako managed to catch it the same time giving it to me
