HINATA's POV
Naruto. After what happened last night, Naruto suddenly started acting weird, earlier this morning he came looking for me, and kissed me in the forehead saying sorry for what happened last night, then he joined us in the table eating breakfast, and asked the maid to add a little more pancake with strawberries and honeys
Then played a little with them and then started getting ready for work... what i don't understand is that from the moment i saw him earlier until now, he would flinch every minute but it was actually unnoticeable since he would look away when it happens
Then before heading off to work, he kissed me for a long time which was actually good, but he's kinda off, like the kiss has a different saying... like.. a farewell kiss... but i just shrug it off that maybe what happened last night was still affecting me
Then he went home around lunch time to eat with us and stayed for a movie then left to work again and the same thing happens
He came home around 7 which is unusual... and had dinner with us, while he was asking how our days go... and he was joking with us specially with the kids...
And now he's sleeping peacefully beside me and the kids between us... he suggested it... i just can't help wondering why he thought of it

I woke up, and he wasn't there anymore but suddenly the door opened and he came in wearing an apron carrying a large tray of foods
He has dough in his face and some strawberry syrup near his mouth
"Good morning Hime... good morning kids!" He greeted me and woke up the kids
"Why do you look like that Dad??" Boruto said as soon as he saw his father
"Wearing this makes your mother fall for me again... look!" He said pouting towards me and i looked at the kids and they both laughed
"Mommy your blushing" himawari said laughing at me
"R-really?" I asked holding my hot cheeks... oh Naruto, you have too much effect on me until these day
We ate in bed while Naruto was having a shower
"Kids... could you spare us a moment?" Naruto said while in the shower
"Be careful when you go down" i said to them and they nod then left
" and locked the door when you leave kids" he said from the bathroom
The kids left taking the tray out
"Are they gone?" Naruto peeped out from the bathroom
"Yes" i laughed seeing him act sily
"come out now, why are acting suspicious?"
"I just wanna talk with you alone" he said wearing his usual suit with a untied tie
"Here let me tie that while we talk" i suggest and he sat infront of me
"Hey listen... I'm really sorry for the way i acted the other night, i think i got carried away" he said scratching his ears
"I know... and i understand, but do try to think of the mood first okay?" I said finishing the tie
"You know. You never changed, still beautiful as ever, as understanding as ever. How could a stupid man like me deserve you?" He said with much sadness and longing in his eyes while caressing my cheeks
"How many times do i have to tell you? You are an amazing person, a loving father and a Husband that any woman wished for?" I said giving both his cheek a squeeze making him pout
