CHAPTER 58: Home
BORUTO's POV
"Ugh... man can't i just relax today?" I said sitting on my office chair exhausted
"I know, but as Ms.Hirahara said we have to finish all the meeting today and we cannot postpone then anymore" Shikadai said
It's been 5 years since that wedding. Now, I'm fully handling the whole Uzumaki Company, with my partner Shikadai.
"Yeah, i think she said about, the Lee's proposal being postponed for like the 3rd time?" I said relaxing a little
"Yeah, ever since i started working here, more and more proposal and project that we have to handle ourselves pops up. And we would only cancel them for important events"he said standing up and headed to my phone and called my secretary for coffee
"I guess this is what our Dads used to do then" i said imagining them... sleeping in that couch or either playing games in that huge Tv
"Nope. I could only imagine them sleeping around or goofing" he said in a straight face
"Well yeah... same here." i asnwered awkwardly "i think we're getting old to be thinking like this. I mean I'm already 22" i laughed and so he did
The day passed by and we just finished our last meeting and then we parted ways from the company
I went to Dad and Mom's House and had dinner with them and later on left to go home. I moved out after a few months when they got married. I mean I'm old enough and i know how things work and sometimes i get fascinated when they flirt with each other even though they're getting old. They act like a child in love and sometime i know where things are head. So i decided to buy a house just an hour away from the company and half away from their house.
It was a simple one. A two-storey house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I didn't plan to get a house, i was thinking of something like a condo or apartment just to sleep in, since i usually eat at the company, meetings, or my parent's house. Himawari stayed their but hardly home, since she was so busy in her own lab, discovering, inventing, experimenting and traveling. But she always call us everyday asking about our day like she didn't left us
*knock *knock
That's strange. It's already 12am and someone would know on my door?
I just finished taking a shower, i got caught up in my work that i had taken home. So i didn't notice the time and it's this late already
I made my way to the door and saw the documents sitting on the kitchen table where i sat earlier pondering on what step i should take
They knocked again on the door. Actually, why didn't they used the doorbell...by the gate? They're already at the door. They shouldn't be there, they should be outside the gate.
I hurriedly walked to the door and look out the eyehole. It's Sarada.
I quickly opened the door as soon as i saw who it was.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her as soon as i opened the door
"A Hello would be great" she said as she entered the house
"Hello...?" I greeted as i closed the door and locked it
"Come on, Boo. Can't you relax at home?" I heard her say as i walk back inside. I saw her at the kitchen, looking at the documents
