Slowly and surely, Marlin began lining the inner corner of her eyelid and moved towards the outer edge. She faced the mirror and blinked twice. Out of frustration, she groaned as she picked up a tissue and wiped the eyeliner off her face. Again.
Knowing that make up was out of the question, she moved to the other side of the room. She stood in front of her closet for good 3 minutes while staring at her clothes, trying to figure out the perfect outfit for tonight.
After trying out different looks, she decided to stick with a simple jeans and a shiny rosegold deep v-neck sleeveless top. For her accessories, a necklace and a set of rings, all with aqua color details.

She took a seat again in front of the mirror with her make-ups and exhaled audibly. "Okay, let's try this again one last time."
Her door flew opened.
"How do I look?" Sarah asked while holding a brush.
She was wearing a black eyelash lace bralette and a baby pink leather skirt that emphasized her long legs.
"You look amazing." Marlin replied sadly. "Help."
Sarah walked up to her and studied her face through the mirror."Okay here." Her roommate handed her the brush. "Let me do it."
Sarah redid her whole makeup because it was a mess, which she couldn't deny. Marlin was not just good at it.
When her face and hair was done, she was finally allowed to look at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help but smiled.
Sarah went for a fresh and peachy look, the exact way she wanted it. And the best thing about it was that her glossy coral lip matched her top, her hair was put to a messy low bun.
"You're a genius." was all she could say to her.
"I know" Sarah giggled. "Now get ready cos Ivan is on his way."
A knock on their main door made them finally exit the house, Ivan was waiting for them outside. He had this dazed expression on his face when he saw them.
"Hi baby." Sarah greeted.
He said nothing and just kept staring at them and looked amazed at the same time.
"Cat got your tongue?" Marlin mocked.
"Wow. You girls look..."
Again, he didn't know what to say.
"...king like a snack?" Sarah suggested.
He chcuckled. "You know you're more than a snack, you're a whole meal!"
Sarah giggled flirtatiously as she locked her arm around his neck and they started to kiss.
Marlin made a fake throw up sound. She had to do it twice for them to break away from their interlocked lips.
