Chapter 18

Amber

I slept so good I didn't have any nightmares just dreams. I opened my eyes and saw the sun rising. I then realized that 1. It smells like heaven 2. He's in my room 3. He's on my bed 4. His arms are around my waist and most importantly 5. He's shirtless.

How did he even find my room? I'm going to kill him. I try to take off one of his arms it's a piece of cake till his arms go completely ridged and pulls me back tighter than before. Great he's awake.

"Where do you think your going?" he whispered into my ear. Brushing his lips against it.

"I have to do work." I said.

"No I don't think so." he said.

"Let me go." I said

"No" he said breathing in my scent.

"Black" I said

"Shut Up I'm sleeping." he said. Ugh I sighed in frustration. He laughed. I'm not staying here. I tickled him and he let go instantly and I jumped out of bed and ran out the door. I went to my office and continued doing all the rest of the calls to other alphas.

He was gone. Henry came in.

"Hi alpha! I'm glad your feeling better." he said.

"How you doing kid." I said

"Never better. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"No not today." I said and I sat back down. He turned around and walked and right as he got to the door he turned around and asked.

"How come you don't have a mate?" His words sunk in and my body tensed up. "You're the only alpha without a mate."

"I just don't have one yet." He nodded and walked out the door. How am I going to do this. I walked out to the front and got a rose. The engravings on his grave brought me his memories.

"Kyle how do I do this? My mate is the most hated alpha and a part of me wants to be with him and it's just so hard." Tears started rolling down her cheeks. The girl who was always strong and independent broke for the first time.

"I don't even know how to explain everything I am feeling. I just wish you were here. I wish I could live a normal life I wish that I could relax and not be the great Alpha Amber. I wish that daddy was alive." as the last word came out a last tear shred out. I picked up myself and put the rose down and I shifted into my Amber wolf. And ran and ran till I could no longer.

I returned back to the office and he was sitting in my chair.

"Get out of my chair." I said.

"Why are you here again?" I asked

"I'm sorry I wanted to see my mate." he said.

"You saw me this morning."

"I wanted to see you again." he said.

"I would appreciate if you left."

"I'm not going anywhere." he growled.

"It's my land."

"Your my mate." he growled. "Your so frustrating one second you act like my mate the other you act like I'm a murderer.Your just so damn frustrat-" I couldn't stand it any more I put my hands on his face and kissed him.
