In the early morning hours you lounge on the big rocks of the rivers bank. With the sun threatening to peak over the horizon you still take your time. Taking your time to brush your long hair and take in the forest view. Only in the wee hours were you able to bathe without being pestered. Despite always not wearing clothes bathing just made it feel a little different.
All around the dense trees and near endless flora lazed in the low light and held fast the birds whom will soon set out to feed their young and sing of their hearts desires.

As the sun inevitably rose above the oceans you could see the individual shimmers of every scale on your (F/C) tail. Combing your hair with your fingers you get a feeling someones behind you. Carefully you turn to see a man crouched on the rivers bank, taking a drink. You turn back around as though you didn't even see him there in a hope he will flirt.

Joxter certainly noticed and stepped carefully over to the lady.
"Miss? Is there good reason that an angel such as yourself is spending her time in this world? The clouds are much more-"
He was distracted when you turned coyly to reveal that you were shirtless. No mermaid wore clothes but you knew the explicitry of a lack thereof for those on land. Joxter removed his hat to cover his increasingly reddening face.
"What about clouds dear?"
He let out a cough as to try make his voice not crack and tried to complete his thought.
"The clouds are much more suitable for you. Are you a cherub as you are gracefully clad i-in."
"In nothing?"
Joxter took a seat next to you and tried to play like he wasn't flustered mad and nodded.
"Yes.. it is a good look on you you know?"
"That is so truly cheesy but you are rather handsome so you get a pass."
"Are you calling me a fool?"
You giggled and continued to toy with your drying hair while he lit his pipe.
"Well i suppose that's fair. You know? I can be your fool if you would have me?"
It was now your turn to blush. Or was it the direct sunshine you weren't used to that burned?
"I-i suppose but not for long, i know you are a traveling man that needs his time alone. I also know you are quite the heart thief from what i hear from other ladies here."
Joxter takes a couple quiet puffs from his pipe and tosses a rock in the river before answering. He was looking for something to say that didn't explicitly write him as the player he was.
"Oh i may have ladies by the bushel but does it not seem exciting to be one of those to have been slain by a tramps sword?"
"Oh yes of course but i am just saying to not expect me to let you eat my heart like a sweet."
he knew he had the go now and made his move. Carefully moved in and pushed your hair out of your face before placing a single kiss on your soft lips.
"Oh you can do better than that mister."
You pulled him into the river, giving you the upper hand.

For the rest of the day you both swam about, enjoying the day as you knew at sun down he would be gone, possibly for good to his next victim.
