~Alaine's P.O.V~

I slowly slipped back into consciousness, before opening my eyes I focused on listening to what was going on around me but I heard nothing except for my own breathing and a far away dripping noise. I cautiously opened my eyes and saw that I was in some kind of small room, the walls were all made of stone, as was the ceiling and floor. I spotted a door and tried to get up and go to it but almost immediately was pulled back by a shock going up both my arms. Looking down at my arms I discovered that my hands were encased in a metal cuff sort of thing with chains leading to the wall behind me. I pulled on them a couple times, getting shocked with electricity each time.

After a few unsuccessful tries I finally gave up and just curled up into a ball against the wall hoping that I was just dreaming and that I would wake up soon in my bed back at home, as I thought of home I began wondering would my mum and dad be worried about me? Would my two little sisters miss me? How are they dealing with me not being home? These thoughts eventually led me to start thinking about if Lillian and Talen are here with me too or did they get away?

Curled up into my ball of misery and worry I was too caught up in my thoughts to notice the squeaking of the opening door before another rag was shoved over my head and another prick in my neck, they (whoever they are) must have put less of a dose with whatever drug they were using as it only stopped me from moving and left my mind completely awake and aware. The person who drugged me lifted me up and carried me out of the room effortlessly so I assume it was a man. As I had the rag blocking my view I had no idea where they were taking me.

We finally stopped in a room with lots of noise and commotion, the person who carried me placed me down on a hard but smooth surface and encased my hands behind me in the metal cuff things again. The rag was ripped off of my head and I was blinded by the sudden light of the new room. As my vision cleared and the control of my body came back to me the first thing I noticed was Talen tied up the same as me across the room, our eyes locked and I had never seen him so terrified. He was always the brave one of our group and to see him terrified like that made me even more scared than what I already was.

Completely forgetting about the electric cuffs encasing my hands I lurched forward towards him but was forced to the floor by the shocks going up my arms. Bundled up into a ball on the smooth floors, the air had been knocked out of my lungs making me gasp for air. I glanced at Talen to see him looking at me with a completely helpless and worried look on his face. I saw him about to come forward but I just shook my head, seeing my actions he stayed put but never broke eye contact with me.

I glanced around the room and saw that there were about 7 people including Talen and I all chained up to large pole looking objects made from the same stone as the walls, I couldn't see Lillian anywhere so she must've gotten away thank goodness. The room itself was sort of cave looking and was lit with lots candles and a huge hole in the ceiling where it looked like the Lunar eclipse (Blood moon) was occurring, entranced by the beauty of it I hadn't noticed the gathering of people in long dark robes around us. I was snapped into reality when a loud chanting filled my ears. It kept getting louder and I felt as though my head might split open, I started to see stars before my eyes and I put my hands up to my ears to block the noise only to have the shocking go through my arms, adding to the pressure already in my head.

Through my blurry vision I took one more look at Talen who seemed fine before I collapsed completely to the floor unable to bear the loudness of the chanting and the shocks running up my arms. I was still awake but everything was a huge blur and the room was spinning, the almost completely red moon came to my attention and again captured my focus. As the red moon caught my attention, everything else faded out and the moon seemed to be getting closer and closer until it was my only focus.

A/N hey so here's the second chapter omg I'm finally updating :D haha so as I hopefully said in the last chapter I am on holidays for two weeks YAY!! So expect a few more updates. And okay so I felt I had to stop it here sorry :/ umm is it any good and is it too short? please tell me. Ohh and I added the people I wanted the characters to sort of look like and I forgot to mention that Alaine, Lillian and Talen are all in year 12 so they're 17 years old. Umm anyways I hope you enjoyed please don't be afraid to leave your thoughts and suggestions in the comments. Also I'm thinking that I might add a chapter sometime soon to describe the personality and life story between the characters and throughout the story to explain what's going on in more detail :3 ooooh and before I go I am planning to switch P.O.V's between Alaine and Lillian (who got away) so that there's sort of two sides to the story but idk what do you think? Lemme know pleaaaase. Okay byeeeee :3
