General's POV

Anna treat Cassandra for an ice cream before they went home.

"That was amazing. Hey, Don't forget me when you already became a star." Anna uttered while driving and focusing on the road.

"Oh come on, Tita. I'll never forget you. How can I forget my second Mom!" Cassandra smiled and continued eating her ice cream.

"I still couldn't believe it, until now." Cassandra added and smiled at Anna.

Anna smiled back as she remembered Lea. If only Cassandra knew about the truth.

When they came home Aga greeted them at the living room.

"How's the audition?" His arms were crossed and his face can't be painted. Anger. Anger is the only emotion left in him.

"D-Dad. Let me explain—"

Cassandra can only looked down as Aga was like a volcano about to erupt.

She noticed something familiar at the table. It was a placard from The Voice with her name on it.

"I am totally busted." Cassandra thought.

"You didn't even consult me first before going there?!"

"Because I know you will say no!"

Cassandra is tired of all this quarreling about Lea.

"At sumasagot ka na? That's it. You are grounded for a month! No cellphones or gadgets. After school uuwi ka kaagad—"

Cassandra had enough. "Let me explain my side! What's the purpose of my voice, Dad?! Is it because Ms. Lea's there? Why do you hate her so much? Why can't you just support me just like any Father supports their child." She said teary eyed and went to her room.

Cassandra knows what she did was not right but she had enough.

Cassandra slammed the door of her room so hard and can't help to sat down. She cried while her arms was covering her face.

She's looking at the ceiling and reflecting at the things she said to her Dad earlier.

"Kuya, let Cassie muna." Anna told him trying to calm her big brother.

She saw the full anger written on his face.

"You supported her?!" He shouted.

"Kuya, Cassandra wants to be close to her Mom. It's her right to know Lea. To know who's her biological Mother is." She answered back as her voice raising.

"To be closed to her? Didn't you remembered what she has done to me and to Cassandra? She left us for her fuckin' singing career and now you wanted me to let Cassandra know her?" Aga let out with all his emotions.

"Cassandra is still Lea's daughter. You couldn't get rid of that fact! I've been with her since she was born. I became her second Mother and I know how she's longing for her real Mother to be beside her.
