He laughed so hard, I swear I'm going to kill him right here right now.
"Grabe ka naman, Lei. Hindi ako ganun ha!" He reasoned out.
"Then who changed my clothes and why is your scent all over my room?" I asked him.
"You throw up that's why I called the woman in the lobby and the scent, I was the one who accompanied you to your room."
"Right. I-I'm so sorry."
"It's okay. You had a lot of alcohol intake yesterday that's why you don't remember anything."
Alright that's a lie. I remember something!
"You're still beautiful, babes?"
If I tell this to Aga, I'm sure he will shut up.
"Cassandra..." Aga knocked at our daughter's door.
"Get up na. We will just wait for you at the restaurant." Aga told her and I suddenly felt nervous.
"Can I talk to her now?" I whispered softly to Aga.
"No, Give her five minutes to arrange her mood. Lalo kang hindi iintindihin ng batang 'yon. Ang aga-aga oh." He explained.
"Mana talaga sa'yo." I told him.
"Yung? Gwapo ang tatay, Maganda yung anak?" I rolled my eyes on what he said.
"No, Saakin naman 'yun." I told him and he laughed while shaking his head.
"Tara na nga." - Aga.
While walking, Aga was telling me stories about Cassandra.
Little did he know that I knew everything about my daughter.
We waited for Cassandra for a long time.
"What's taking her so long?" I asked and took a sip of my glass of water.
"If you're hungry, You can eat na." Aga told me but I insist to wait for Cassandra.
"Can I go check on her?" I questioned worriedly.
"If that's what you want. Oh— and quick tip, If she already took a shower that's when she's okay to interact with another human being." I giggled at what he said and nod.
"Got it, Sir."
I walk back to Cassandra's room and knocked.
No one answered.
I knocked again and tried to open the door.
I felt disquieted that it was open and I saw Cassandra on her bed brushing her hair.
"I knew you would check on me." She uttered coldly and stood up.
I gently closed the door and tried to approach her.
"She's still mad at me..."
I thought but that assumption of mine were false when she hugged me.
I was suprised when I received her warmest hug.
That hug I've also been longing from her.
I hugged her back and I can hear her sobbing.
She's crying. Oh no— My daughter's crying.
I gently rub her back as I bit my lips and hold my tears.
"I reflected about our conversation yesterday. I'm really sorry about everything I said. I'm really sorry." She continued to cry.
"It's okay." I looked at her face and smiled.
