A movie played from the classroom's projector, the characters droning on about their typical drama. The lights above hummed, the white noise making some students even more drowsier than usual. In the back corner, a group of friends hung out with some on their phones and others quietly chatted to each other.

Smitty yawned; tears pricked the corners of his eyes and he rubbed them away. Green and purple spots swam around in his vision before fixing itself back to the dimmed room. His head lolled forward, his eyelids drooped and gave a hum when a warm hand gently rubbed his back.

"Go to sleep," murmured a deep voice. Through his tired eyes, he saw Eric smile. "I'll wake you up before the bell rings, I promise."

"Thanks man." Smitty laid his head on his arm, the cold desk top giving him goosebumps. The repetitive low hum and the soothing motions on his back made his shoulders relax and he closed his eyes. He frowned when Eric's hand pulled away, the loss of heat becoming more prominent.

The sound of moving fabric met his ears and before his exhaustion completely overtook him, something warm covered his back and shoulders. The smell of tacos and cheap cologne replaced the vanilla the classroom held. It was oddly comforting and Smitty snuggled deeper into the soft fabric. A tired fuzziness soon took over his mind.

As he drifted off to sleep, he faintly heard his friends mumble and chuckle but Eric's words stood out to him the most. "It's kinda cute, he's wearing my jacket right now."

It's been a while bubs, sorry for the wait. For those who don't know, I lost a good chunk of my drafts a few days ago and I'm left with blank pages once again. Since this happened, I've backed my shit up on google docs. Its left me paranoid haha.

Do you mind short oneshots? Or do you want longer ones? I can update more if oneshots are 200 words or so, do letters, poems (I'm not good at them haha) but longer oneshots will obviously take me longer to update. Hmm, we'll see what happens.
