Today is Monday. That means school. I got up at 6:30. I took a shower the night before cause showers in the morning make me more tired. (Idk but it's true.) I got up and got dressed. I was wearing some black vans, skinny jeans, and a sweatshirt that say "pizza is better looking than you." For make-up I just put on some eye shadow and some mascara. I don't really like makeup but some of it covers up the ugly.
I ran down stairs, and exchange hi's with my mom. "Where is cameron?" I asked. Then I heard a loud bang from the stairs. I turned the corner to see cameron laying in the ground with his pants half on half off. "Dangit, I was trying to beat you down here, I guess you win" he yelled and I just laughed. "Cameron put your pants on now! Y'all are gonna be late" my mom said. I could tell she was annoyed because Cameron would do this every Monday. I had gotten used to it, because it was funny to watch him fall every time.
He quickly got up and pulled his pants up. I walked back into the kitchen and got a muffin and some orange juice, and Cameron just got some milk. "You two better get going or yall will be late!" mom said as I was putting up the Orange juice. "Okay, okay. We will go!" Cameron said as he was walking to get his keys. We both yell love you to our mom and left for school... fun.
We were about half way there, and Cameron had been asking me stuff like "Are you sure you'll be okay? Do you want me to walk to your classes?" I just simply said no to everything me he said. Being the protective brother he is I didn't get annoyed. I thought it was funny. He has always been like this, ever since our dad left. I guess he feels that he needs to fill in that place of the father figure, and it's working, I mean I don't think of Cameron as my dad, I think of his as my best friend, my partner in crime. Whenever I get in trouble he gets in trouble, and whenever he is in trouble I'm in trouble. It's always been like that.
We finally arrived at school. Nerves shot through my body. They suddenly stop when Cameron took my hand. He has always had that affect on me. I could already tell this school was like my last one. There were the jocks, the Emo's, the nerd, and then there were the people that didn't talk to anyone. They just kept to there selves. I give them props, because they are the truly smart kids. They know to stay aways from drama.
Cameron pulled me into the building and got our schedules, I was a in 10th grade and Cameron was in 11th, we had no classes together. Which I knew would happen, but I guess I kinda hoped otherwise. We said our goodbyes and he told me to meet him at his car right after the bell rang from 7th hour. I said okay and we went our separate ways. I walked to my locker and put my stuff in there. I noticed at had Biology 1st hour, great.
I walk In and nobody's in there yet. Maybe because it's 7:45 and class doesn't start until 7:50. I just walk to the back of the class and take a seat. A couple minutes later people start to walk it. I noticed this one boy. He had brown hair and brown eyes, he looked to be around 15 or 16. He was about 6'0. He walked funny, kinda like he was bouncing back and fourth between each foot. I guess I didn't notice he was staring at me too. He started to walk towards me. I got a little nervous, because he was extremely attractive. He walked up to me, he just stared at me. "Hi, I'm shawn. You must be new cause I haven't seen you around, welcome to Anchor Range High School!" He said without any hesitation. "Hi, I'm Natalie, uhh thanks." At this point I felt like a complete idiot, because that's all I could get out of my mouth. "Mind if I sit next to you?" He ask, I nod slowly not knowing what I just did.
The teacher soon walked in "Good morning students, how was everyone's summer?" He asked the whole class and nobody said anything they just played on there phone, except for Shawn. He just stared at me. I tried to avoids it but his eyes were like daggers burning on my skin.
