*******Flashback*****

Today was my boyfriend and I six months anniversary. Great another day goes by that I haven't told anyone about what he does to me, and what he says to me. I haven't told anyone about how me calls me a slut or a whore, when I won't sleep with him. My boyfriend would always pick me up after school. (cause he is 18 and I'm 15) He texted me,

Him😒: hey babe get your ass out here now!

Me: you can wait school hasn't ended yet!

Him😒: whatever if your not out here in 10 mins, your getting you ass beat!

Me: whatever bye!

I had just sat down in my last hour when he texted me, so I know what he is going to do. I texted my brother and asked him if he could meet me after school in my 7th hour class and take me home. But he didn't respond until the bell rang

Cameron: sorry Natalie I with Melissa, what's up?

Me: Nothing I was just wondering if I could get a ride from you.

Cameron: I thought Austin was picking you up?

Me: nope, he was a no show today.

Cameron: okay, I'm on my way.

Thank god I escaped him today!

Austin: you may have gotten away today but that's not gonna last very long.

I ignored it and just locked my phone and went to Cameron's car.

----Skipping to when I got home----

We finally got home. We had to drop off Melissa at her house. I felt like someone was following us the whole time, but I every time I would look back no one was there.

Anyway I was in my bedroom now, washing my face when a stone came through my window. It had a note attached to it

From: Austin

If you don't get your fucking ass to my house I swear I will come and kill your whole family.

At this point I didn't know what to do I just felt like crying and I did.

-------later that night------

I finally came out of my room.

"Hey mom." I said kinda hoping she would ask what's wrong, but she didn't.

"Hey honey what are you doing?" She asked.

"Umm I just gonna walk over to Lauren's, is that okay?"

"Sure honey be back by 10 okay?"

"Okay, I love you" she laughed and said love you too.

Whenever I leave the house to go to Austin's I always tell her love you, because I don't know if I will ever be back.

I started to walk when I got a call from the one and only Austin.

Austin: Where are you??

Me: Calm your tits all be over in 10!

Austin: Lose the attitude or I will kill you!

Me: okay okay whatever bye!

I hung up before he could say anything else. I stopped in my tracks, and just thought to myself. "Why am I doing this? I can just turn around and go back home and tell someone. But I would risk my whole family's safety."

I kept walking.

I was at his house. I rang the door bell and his mom answered. She let me in and told me Austin was upstairs. I walk into Austin's room and he was pissed. You could tell by the look in his eyes. He quickly walked over to me and grabbed my arm. "Let go of me bitch!" I said then he hit me. "Don't ever call me a bitch that's my job!" He said as he was laughing. I don't know how him hitting me and call his GIRLFRIEND a bitch is funny, but I guess he thought it was.

He yelled at me and hit me for about 10 minutes saying stuff like, " your a worthless piece of shit. Why the hell would you call me a bitch. I gonna beat you so hard you won't be able to walk anymore." At this point I was scared for my life. He ran out the door and out of his house, and into his car. I wasn't sure where he was going but I had to call Cameron.

Cameron: hello?

Me: Cameron get mom and take her our of the house you and her need to get out of the house!

Cameron: Why???

Me: Austin got mad at me and I called him a bitch and he told that he was going to hurt your guys, and he just left please please please get out of there!!!

Cameron: already in the car!

Me: okay bye!

Cameron: I love you Natalie everything will be fine!

I was in tears when he said that cause I knew nothing was going to be fine!

I had came up with a game plan. I went down stairs to see if anyone was there, nobody was but the front door was locked. "Shit" I said with anger. I ran back up stairs. Austin had a window in his room, so I went to it and jumped out.

I ran as fast as I could. Cameron told me him and my mom were at my Aunt Tanya's house. Which was about 10 minute away.

When I got there Austins car was in the drive way, but he wasn't moving. I walk up to the car slowly, there was blood on his head. I heard Cameron yell at me, "NATALIE GET IN HERE NOW"

I ran up to the house and my mom was asking about everything. "Cameron and I wanted to surprise you with a nice dinner with your sister!" I said trying to catch my breathe from what just happened. "Cameron does Aunt Tanya know?" He nodded yes. "She went to the police station and told everything, he can't hurt you anymore, I promise I will always protect you!" He said which made me feel a little bit more happy.

We ate dinner after the police were done, my mom still hadn't noticed. Every Time Cameron and I would go outside to talk to the police we would say we're playing volleyball.

The police told us he would face 30 years to life in prison for assault and sexual harassment. When they said that it felt like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulder. And I could finally live from one day to another not having to worry that I won't be back for dinner.
