Today is Monday. Wonderful, not! The only good thing about school is that I get to see Shawn. Who is picking me up for school.
Cameron woke me up, because I hate alarm cloaks and I never wake up on my own. When I woke up I got a text from Shawn.
Shawn🔮: Hey beautiful! I'm picking you up. Be ready by 7:30? Love you😘
Me: Okayy! Love you too😘
I quickly got up and got ready.
It's almost the middle if September and we are in Canada, so it's kinda chilly outside.
Today I wore some skinny blue jeans, a white t-shirt with a black jacket over it, and some white converse. For makeup I just put some mascara on. And I straightened my naturally curly hair.
It's was now 7:2o so I went downstairs to get something to eat. Cameron was already down there. He made us both some eggs and bacon.
"Did you sleep good Cam?" I asked and he shook his head yes.
Ever since our dad came and visited us he hasn't been very talkative, like almost not talking at all.
"Hey Natalie, do you ever wonder why dad left us?" He asked. "No I don't. He would have told us why he left when he was here." I said I little loud, because I was mad about the subject. "Your right, I guess I just need a reason to why he left us." He said and I just nod and walked to the table.
After what felt like hour of silence, our doorbell rang, I quickly got up and ran to the door. I was expecting Shawn to be standing in front of me, but it was a women, that I have never seen before.
"Hello my name is Heather, I'm a social worker, for the town of Pickering." I didn't not understand what was going on. "I got a call from Mark Dallas, he said he was your father?"she look very conservative as she said the words I dreaded as they were coming out. "Yeah WAS my father, he left when me and my brother were young, he means nothing to me now." I said with complete confidence. "Well he might be where you going to live." I didn't want to believe the words she had said, my father was trying to get custody of me and Cameron.
