*********Shawns P.O.V**********

I walk into my 1st hour class which is Biology. Awesome, just another stupid class that I won't need for the future. Anyways when I walk into the classroom I notice this girl, she was beautiful. She had dark brown curly hair that was shoulder length. I couldn't tell what color eyes she had cause she was staring at her phone. She glanced up real quick, I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. We stared at each other for what felt like a years, but It was only about 10 seconds, I walk over to her and say "Hi, I'm Shawn, you must be new cause I haven't seen you around, welcome to Anchor Range High School." She smiled and said "Hi, I'm Natalie, uhh thanks." Her voice was angelic. I could listen to it all day long. At this point I didn't know what I was saying or doing. "Mind if I sit next to you?" I ask and she nods slowly. "Nice one Shawn, way to charm her." I think to myself.

I noticed the teacher walked in but I didn't know what he was saying. I was just staring at Natalie. Natalie I like the sound of that. "Natalie Mendes!" I said out loud. "No, my last name is Dallas." She said. Thanks god she didn't know my last name that would have been embarrassing! She was gonna figure it out sooner or later. "Why do you keep staring at me?" She said knocking me out of my daze. "Huh, uh oh I-I was just, never mind." I said feeling like a complete idiot. She just laughed and looked aways.

Moments later the bell rang. "Damn this hour went by fast, what class do you have next Natalie?" I asked. "Music, uh what about you?" "Same, you wanna walk there together?" She just nodded and we went off. She walked fast, I don't know why but she did. It was cute, she is cute! She started to slow down and look back at me. "Oh sorry, I didn't realize I was walking fast!" She said. "No worries" I said and just smile and walk up to her.

We made it to music. This was my favorite because music is my life. No one has ever heard me sing, besides my sister Aaliyah. She supported me and encouraged me to sing in front of people, but I still hadn't done it.

****Skipping to the end of the day****

Turns out Natalie and I have all classes together. Which was exciting for me but I don't know how she feels about it. She quickly ran to a car. Then I saw a boy standing there waiting for her. "Is that her boyfriend?" I ask myself. All she did was hug him, and thats it. Which was kinda confusing. Luckily she gave me her number and she has mine. I texted her.

Shawn: Who was that boy you hugged?

Natalie: Why do you wanna know?

Shawn: I just do okay?

Natalie: Okay, he is my brother Cameron Dallas. He is in the 11th grade.

Shawn: Oh okay!😊

Natalie: Okay.😊
