Misery loved company
And that's a fact
So being happy
Is a rebellious act
So i wont be dragged down
Left to drown in the pool
And i'll no longer frown
And let them treat me like a fool
Cause i have what I believe
That i know is true
They can't possibly conceive
What folks would try to do
Or maybe they're pretending
Acting like they're superior
Breaking and bending
Those bible scriptures
Those scientific facts
Those historical literature
Those written in black
So what does this mean
For the ones who look like you and I
