Imagine what kind of world we would live
If people only ever took what they would give
If people never did sin
Against those of darker skin
If police weren't brutal
If justice wasn't conditional
If those who dictate
Would never ever discriminate
If you weren't afraid
At the end of the day
Closing your eyes
To the tears and the lies
That life's put you through
And you wonder who
Writing the story of you
And those people
That say they follow the Bible
Would never hate
And discriminate
Against people not of their race
And only apologize to save face
If everyone cared about mental
health just as much as physical
If people kept their hands to themselves
And everyone who needed it got help
And people weren't so greedy
And stingy
When it came to money
And they're have it abundantly
Oh if only we wrote out certain words ending with ism
Like racism, sexism, texturism, colorism
Deep within the souls of some
And replaced it with fun
Humbleness
Tolerance
And love
