Back on Tabda everything was fine. But it wouldn't be for much longer.
It had been about a month now since the Moranns were defeated, and Carol has stayed as a holiday in Tadba. All seem so beatiful, so peaceful, plus the people loved her and treated her like a queen. There was nothing that could change it!
Carol woke up, took a shower, dressed up and went to the balcony to salute all the Tabdarians reunited to cheer for her. It was dreamy. She continued with breakfast and later went to the gym. After that met with somw Tabdarian authorities and then ate lunch. Took a nap and woke up to the delicious smell of a polr (sth that looked like a vainilla pie) with a note that read "For our hero, from the people you so unselfishly saved. Hope you like it!". Of course she couldn't resist and just ate the hole thing. She found it quite tasty and reminded her of the ones Maria and Monica [Rambeu] would cook for her when she was on Earth. She sometimes missed them, but knew she had a duty to the universe, after all, with great power comes great need to use them and show off...also saving lives.
Geting off her thoughts, she threw the remainnings of the polr to the trash can, and went to the living room to watch some TV. She found a program in which they talked about war and how badly it hurt the planet long time ago. And how now the two sides were united and could live in peace. It also sent a "thanks for the saving" to Captain Marvel, which made Carol smile. She spent the rest of the afternoon watching some Tabdarian movies and learning some of their story by reading some books. When she finay felt exhausted of so much information, she went to bed and slept. She dreamt about flying with the air pilots back on Earth.
Let's get back to Valkyrie's story now.
We left our other heroine training hard to avenge her fallen drunkie friends. She had been working out and practising with the sword to beat some Morann ass! She felt ready. But soon her confidence fell down when she heard on the radio that a new hero, Captain Marvel, had defeated the Moranns and scared them away. Even though she was happy for the planet, she felt sad she hadn't been the one to take them down. But she wasn't stupid: knowing the Moranns, they would surely come back with an even better threat. So she kept up her exercise.
And man how right she was.
The month that had passed since the Morann flight had been awsome, but thanks to Klee, it was soon going to end.
