Its been 2 sunsets since Carol's passing...out. Her heartbeats were so slow they were almost inexistant. As there were no nearby hospitals, at least any that could treat a half kree alien, Valkyrie had her body laid down on the sofa. There Carol rested, peacefully. -Great. Once more, Im all alone. My newest friend prety much dead. How Im still alive is a complete mystery. Why do all the bad things in the universe have to happen to me!?- She didnt know what to do. But she was sure about one thing: Captain Marvel's death would bring darkness to the galaxy. So many villians would be able to do whatever they pleased. There s always a way out. Always something to bring you back... -Wait...She is Captain Marvel. Heroes get hurt sometimes. She must have had this type of problems before...Perhaps something in her uniform might help her heal? But where is it? Where was she staying at before the kiddnapping and stuff? Valk started looking through Carol s few belongings until she found the yellow t shirt she was wearing when she found her injured near the Morann ship. It has sth on it: a small heart that said "THH". -Its the True Heart Hotel logo! Were the That should be were she was staying before being kidnapped! There s were her suit must be!- She put a plan to set for the THH the following morning on her speeder, and assembled a gurney from old scrap she had for Carol. By the time it was ready and attached to the speeder, Valk was exhausted and went straight to sleep. Tomorrow came and they parted, but not before wrapping Carol in some sheets and strings to the speeder.

On the way there, Valk tried to calm herself down. -This is gonna work V. And I know it is. 'Cause I dont know what Im going to do if it doesnt.- After two quick toilet stops, they were half the way to North Tabda, where the city of Heart was. And in there, the THH. The suns had already set. -Well. Half way through. Sth is sth. Lets continue tomorrow at first light.- Valk looked at the sleeping woman on the back of the speeder. She was as quiet as the night. So many miles away from her home, and just for a complete stranger's well being. -Oh girl, what have you done with my life.- She continued: -One day I was a reknown warrior and now Im just a broken drunky woman with a poor life. But now...now that you are in it, well...its not so bad. I have sth to do, somebody to be with. I really hope you survive. I mean, someone has to save this world, right? Im sure the Moranns wont take much time to recover and attack again. (breaths) Good night blondie. See you tomorrow.-
Morning came and the suns' light awoken Valk. -Well, here we go again.- They parted heading north. Lucky for Valk, there was a city in their route. -Thanks Odin!! FOOD!- In the rush she had forgot to pack something to eat. And with no dinner the day before and no morning breakfast she was very hungry. At least she had some money. Once they reached the nearest town, Valk left the speeder parked behind the "food truck", and went to buy something for her stomach. After paying for what looked like an earthling taco, she rushed to the speeder and ate next to it. -(with food in her mouth) It s a pitty you are not awake. This is delicious! You 'd love it.- She finished her meal and then continued with their trip. Once again the susn were going down, and on the distance at the orizon, Heart city was visible. -YES! Finally! We are here!- Once they had reached the first buildings, she asked a citizen where the THH was. -Its 4 blocks straight and 5 to the left. -(lower) Just like my sexual orientation. (louder) Thank you! -Ergh. Sure!- She followed the instructions and found the Hotel. It was quite a view: well iluminated and full of luxuries. -Oh wow. All this money and servants. And Im the one taking care of the diva.- She parked the speeder next to the entrance, grabbed Carol [picture Superman holding Supergirl in Crisis on Infinite Earths] and ran inside straight to the reception. -Hi. Hello. Good afternoon. Would you please tell me where does this woman have her room? -Ahn...isnt that miss Danvers? Sh*t! Security!!! Call a healer!!! -No, wait! She was kiddnaped by he Moranns and injured. She needs her suit to heal. -But we have healers! -They wont work! She s an alien. She is kree. Her biology must be different. -Ok fine. Her room is 267. Here, the key. -Thank you.- She jumped to the "elevator" (a plataform pulled up and down by strings manually) and almost dropped Carol. She laid her down on the ground and started pulling the strings. Once they reached the second floor she handed them to a hotel assitant and he tied them to a post that read "Rooms from 200 to 299", and grabbed Carol. -Is that Captain Marvel!? -YES SHE IS! WHERE IS HER ROOM!? -Ahhh. Straight up ahead, turn on your right after passing the 250. -Thanks!- So she did, and soon they were standing infront of the 267. -Finally!- She put the key and opened the door, revealing a big beautiful appartment with its own kitchen, playroom, livingroom and prety much all. -My Odin. This is amazing. She even has a balcony! And look at the dresser! Wow! Wait! The suit!- She left Carol on the sofa and opened the dresser. Inside she found a brazalet with the kree star logo in yellow and red. She corectly guessed the suit was actually energy proyected and came from there. She put it on Carol's left wrist and it turn on. It screen read "Systems on. Starting healing. 1%. 2%. 3%. 4..." -(breaths) Yes. In the end. It worked. She s gonna make it. Her heart will surely beat as normal...- She waited till the brazalet was full at 100%. When it did, it read "Healing completed", but Carol didnt seem to react at all. She was still assleep. Valk started freaking out. -No no no. This cant be! This was supposed to help her! F*ck! I hate this technological thing!- She proceded to punch the sofa Carol was laying down on and then sat on her knees, facing Carol. -Im sorry. I ve failed you. I tried it all, but there just no saving.- Tears began to come down her eyes, and she placed her head on Carol's chest. The room was very quiet. Quiet enough to her a heartbeat. And then another, and another... -Valkyrie? Is that you? What...what happended?- Carol had awoken after the healing had reached her heart, which od course took some time. -CAROL!? OH MY ODIN!! You are awake!!- She proceded to hug Carol so tightly she hurt her. -Ouch! Ok! Ok! My back! -Oh, right. Sorry. She let go. -You have no idea of the emotional trauma you put me through. -Well, "El que quiere celeste, que le cueste". -What? -A phrase that Spanish people say when you want sth but its difficult to get. -Who a Spanish? If you dont have any problems...Thanks. -Good night then! -Good night!- Valk went to the bedroom, sat on the bed and thought of what had just happened. -(sights) In the end, this time, everything went fine.- Feeling exhausted from both the stress and two day long trip, she yawned. -I better get some sleep.- She took off her boots, shirt and trouser. Then laid down on the bed, covered herself with the sheets and almost instantly fell assleep. Some stars shone brightly in the sky.
