-(Carol, opening her eyes back from the dream) Hey. You are awake. I m glad. I though I lost you for good.
-But you saved me. Flew me here. Doctors said your hair was on fire and didnt talk at all. Fainted after putting me on a gurney. They check your vitals and found nothing wrong, so they put you there, on a chair next to me.
-Ah. So that happened. Ha! We both survived.
-Yeah, we did. Hurray us! Auch!
-Dont move that much, you are gonna unstitch.
-Right. It seems like now the roles are reversed. Im the injured and you the one taking care.
-Seems just right. I gotta pay you back.
-(V smiled) Also, how are your powers?
-Coming back, slowly. Too much energy used on the flight. Too drained now, but it was worth it.
-Thanks. Looks like we both gotta heal now.
-Yes. Now tht we are both awake, I wanted to ask you about the end of the fight.
-How we both got our asses kicked?
-Haha. No. I dont know if you remember it but... when you were about to die from bleeding, on my arms, something happened.

-Nope. And I do remember it perfectly. I wasnt going to leave this life without touching those flamery lips of yours.
-(C, red cheeks, almost burning)You f*cking beautiful goddess. I m gonna kill you!

Carol jumped off the chair and threw herself over Valkyrie's face. They were now so close, it wasnt possible to pass a pencil between them. Both women
-What are your intensions with me, Danvers?
-Easy. I m a Captain. And you are a soldier under my command. You shall do as I say.
-Aye aye. What are your orders?
-You guess.
-Maybe...

Valkyrie raised her head getting it even closer to Carol's, and soon both their lips touched again. The love and passion could be sensed in the air. Both women were so happy, fulled. A moment they wanted to last forever, but a doctor s entrance to the room cut it shorter than wanted.

-Excuse me misses. Sorry to interrupt, but I need you to sign this papers and you ll be free.

Carol jumped away from Valkyrie and almost fell down as she hit the chair, which caused her to loose balance. Valkyrie laid down on the gurney, still. Both were very embarassed, cheeks on fire.

-Argh, yeah sure. Pass them.
-Here you go. Sing there and you sign over here.
-Sure.
-Now you are both free to go. But I recommend no much movement. And you Captain Marvel, try not to use your powers. They are coming back slowly.

After the doctor left with the papers both women looked at each other. Laughter was soon filling the room.

-Its the 3rd time now that something or someone interrupts us. We really need to get a room.
-Hahha. Yes. Well, why dont we go to the THH then? Im sure they wont mind reserving one indefinitely for the great Captain Marvel.
-Yeah. Lets go. I ll help you.

Carol helped Valkyrie get up and dress up. Then they walked outside to a vehicle that took them to the hotel. Once there, the reception assitant gave them the keys to the room. They got to the elevator, Caril pulled the strings, gave them to the assistant, went to the 267, opened the door (all at the time she was grabbing Valkyrie) and look at her.

-So tell me. We do it?
-It!? Im hurt you know?
-Ok, then we rest.
-Yes. Dont fell bad. Im an Asgardian, I heal quicker than a human.
-Good to know. Then off to bed. Both in mine of course.
-Ma'am yes ma'am.

They took their shoewear, shirts and trousers off. Both women's scars were visible, but the one on Valkyrie's stomach, the most recent of them all, was the more notorious. Carol took a great look at it.

-Hey, eyes up here lady! I told you we wouldnt do it today.
-Ha. I wasnt looking where you think. Its your scar...it hurts a lot, doesnt it?
-Yes. But remember. It wont last long.
-I know, but still. I feel guilty about it. It was my sword.
-It was Klee s doing.
-But I stabbed her too rough. The point should have stayed inside her.
-Oh poor Earthling: so strong, to a fault. Animal like.
-Can an animal do this?
-Wait, my scar!

Carol pushed Valkyrie to the bed and later laid next to her. Both on their sides laid face to face. Blushing...a lot.

-Well, I gotta admit that was quite smooth. Lets just watch something on tv till we fall assleep.
-Seems fine to me.

They turned on the screen an a live fight on Willa arena was on. Valkyrie got some bad memories. She got chills and a frown.

-You ok V? I though you d like a fight channel.
-Bad memories.
-What? You bet and lost?
-Not exactly. I was a luchadora myself.
-Wow. Amazing. But which? Though I havent been here enough to know every luchador.
-I was Shag Star. Star. White and Green suit. Cool. Best. Jumo came. Lost. Injured. Lifeless.
-Oh...Now I wished I havent asked.
-It s ok. Curiosity is not a sin. I been hurt before, both then and now. Im fine. Just cold.
-Want me to go get another blanket?
-Nah, I dont want you to get up. Also, how are you not cold?
-Energy powers. Remember?
-Back already?
-Not able to shoot or fly yet, but corporal tempture is back to "Captain Marvel normal".
-Ah, nice...
-You want me to hug you and warm you up, dont you?
-You said it. I didnt. But yes please!

So Carol did, and soon Valkyrie was warm and sleepy.

-(yawns) Now I can sleep. Good night Power Girl!

She kissed Carol, laid her head on Carol's chest and almost instantly fell assleep.

-(in a low voice, trying not to wake Valkyrie up) Wow that was fast. Sweets dreams goddess.

She turned odd the screen and the light by the bed. She breathed and closed her eyes. She only felt the silence and Valkyrie. All was well.
