Chapter 1

The sound of the alarm clock echo in the white creamy bedroom. A figure under the thick dark blue duvet struggle about trying to locate the source of the annoying sound. A thin white hand reach out to the night table and blindly press some buttons to silence it.

The duvet open up revealing the person beneath it. A man with white porcelain smooth skin, slightly wavy hair - not too long not too short - but currently disheveled. He turns to the damn alarm clock and slam it close for good then sits at the edge of the bed rubbing sleep out of his eyes. Turning back to glare at the clock which brightly shines 7:30 a.m., he lazily stretch and finally leaves the bed.

A white BMW X5 pulls into the parking of the Special Investigation Department. Stepping out of such vehicle is a tall figure with intentionally ruffled wavy hair that is tie into a small ponytail revealing his beautiful face. Thick eyebrows, long eyelashes over his dark hazel brown eyes and thin pink lips: this is Shen Wei, Chief of SID. He sleepily enter the office where his teammates are at their desk doing their 'work' as none of them greet the Chief, at least not in his half-asleep state. It's too dangerous.

His team consist of:

Chu Shu Zhi, the deputy chief, is surfing through the websites in search of super cars.

Da Qing, the weapon specialist especially guns, is taking apart and resembling the guns over and over again for some unknown reason to the rest of the team.

Lin Jing, the data analyst, is hacking something every day. Anything on the internet or computer cannot escape this guy. So confidentiality and secret doesn't really exist.

Zhu Hong, the daughter of the director of the Police Department specialized in idol fanatics, is place in this unit in order to do something useful for once by her own father.

Wang Zheng, the administrator of the office, is going through the documents send in this morning to SID.

Sang Zan, the mechanics of the office, is checking the equipment in the storage. He's Wang's boyfriend.

And last but no least, Uncle Wu, the chef of SID, is cooking something delicious in the kitchen again. Without him, the members would starve to death.

The team consist of wide variety but none can match the great Chief Shen; excelling in both good and bad extremes. It may take more than 3 days to fully describe him, so let's just say that he's very 'unique' to summarize it.

Shen Wei is continuing his sleep on the couch in his office when Wang knocks lightly at the door. If it were someone else, he would have bitten their heads off. But this is Wang, if it wasn't something important, she wouldn't disturb him.

"Come in"

She enters and looks around to find the Chief on the couch. "There's a case Chief. Three victims were attached near Dragon City University last night."

Shen Wei sits up on the couch. "Three people in just one night? That's quite impressive. Tell everyone to gather for a meeting in 10 minutes."

In the SID, there are total of 8 section under the department, where cases will be distributed by the central unit. Chief Shen Wei is responsible for section 1.

When gathered, Chu explains the situation of the case.

"Three undergraduate students were stabbed last night. First victim, Gao Long, got stabbed around 7 p.m. near the university gate; second victim, Yao Min, around 9:20 p.m. near a bus stop in front of the university; and the third victim, Bai Zan, around 10 p.m. near the bike rack inside the university near the west exit."
