Chapter 4

"Lock your office and wait for me here. You're not to open the door to anyone except me. No students, teachers, and whoever are allow to come in here. Do you understand me my dear Prof. Zhao?" Shen Wei sternly instruct.

"Chief Shen, I assure you that I can take care of myself."

As the two are having a disagreement, Guo ChangCheng and Tan Xiao knock on the office door. Shen Wei instantly turn around with his hand on his gun ready to pull it out startling the two students.

"You will not harm my students, Chief Shen." Zhao declare and quickly stand in front of them.

"I'm sorry. But you have to understand me as well; the culprit that attacked you is not caught yet. And those brats at the hospital are being discharge today while they still have some sort of plan that has something to do with you. Good thing Da Qing kind of overheard before they notice him. You see ... there's so many dangers around you!" Shen Wei points out his concern.

"Th-They're still after P-Prof. Zhao after all these e-events?" Guo ChangCheng questions with disbelief.

"Something like that. If I knew those stupid brats were not gonna feel any guilt or fear, I would've help the culprit finish them off." Shen Wei admits.

"Chief Shen!!"

"Just kidding! Sheesh! But I still need you to do as I said. Lock every damn door and window. Or do you need me to send my army to keep watch in front of your office?"

"Ch-Ch-Chief Shen, we'll help you keep him s-safe, right Tan Xiao?" Guo volunteer and turn to his friend for back up.

"Yeah. We won't let anyone near him." Tan Xiao assure.

"Are you all a mother hen or something?" Zhao chuckle at the overreacting men standing in his office. "I'll do as you instruct, Chief Shen. So please get to your work. As for you two, you should also get going, the next period is starting in 10 minutes."

When the students left. Shen Wei lean closer to Zhao again. "Can I get a kiss before I go?"

Zhao adjust his glasses while avoid his gaze and push him out of his office as fast as he could.

The victims at the hospital are being discharge and leave one after the other. The last one is Gao Long, the mastermind of the group and first to be attacked. By the time he leaves, it's already getting dark outside. Zhu Hong watches from one of the room in the hospital. Right before he turn a corner, a dark figure follow suit. "Chief, he's on the move." She notifies through her phone.

As he continue down the alley, Gao Long can feel that someone is following him and he starts to panic. He slightly glance back catching a glimpse of his follower; it's the same one that stabbed him last week, he's sure of it. He quicken his pace which alerted the follower that his victim is about to make a run for it. In that instant, the follower takes out a knife and dash towards the fleeing man.

Unfortunately, Gao Long trips and stumbles onto the ground giving a good opportunity for the follower to attack. But he stop in his mid track when Zhao steps in front of the frighten man on the ground. "You need to stop this." He paused for awhile before lunging forward with the knife only to be knocked aside by Shen Wei and tackled down by Chu. Da Qing and Lin Jing are also nearby to help block the escape path.

"Tan Xiao, stop." A simple word from Zhao makes everything stop.

Tan Xiao remove his face mask but still remain on the ground. He knows that Zhao is disappointed but it's something that he must do.

"Why did you do it?" Shen Wei is starting his interrogation on the spot. 

"How did you know it was me?" Tan Xiao asks Zhao and totally ignore Shen Wei's question.
