October 31, 2018 Halloween day Vida's pov The school day was the same as usual right now it was 6th period. Since today was Halloween I decided to go to school bunny and so did manny for 'moral support' as he said. I had just gotten my nails done, I've been going very often and every time I go manny comes with me and gets a new tattoo at this point he had almost a whole sleeve done and several tattoos at random places.

Cesar had explained to me all about the fam's shut-ins and I completely understood. All I would do on Halloween at the Bronx was do Drive-bys or walk around to protect the hood just like the santos did here in freeridge. And I would occasionally do "purges" with my homegirls and cousins. I was deep in my thoughts when I hear some kid scream 'smoke bomb' out in the hallway, then everyone runs out. "Come on let's dip" manny says as he pulls on my arm. Then I go with him and we start running out of school and down a street. Then we stop and continued walking. "So what you doing tonight?" Manny asks me.
"Well Oscar told me to go out with Cesar and his friends that I've spent to many Halloweens taking care of the streets that I need to live a little, what about you?"
"First year of taking care of the hood" he said with a sigh.
"Don't worry it'll be okay and plus I'll be back at like 10 then I'll spend the rest of the night with you"
