Welcome to the Kim's
"Annyeonghasaeyo, Umma." Tiffany bowed and greet the older woman in front of her and observes as Taeyeon hugged that woman.
"Tippani! You came too." The older woman released Taeyeon and immediately pounced onto Tiffany, much to her surprise. "I miss you." Mrs Kim pull back a little to look at Tiffany's face before hugging her again.
Tiffany could only giggle. She let Taeyeon's mum hug her. "I miss you too, Umma. Sorry I hadn't visited you in a long time."
"It's ok. I understand you're all busy." Mrs Kim brushed off the apology with a wave of her hand. "How are you?" She draped her arm over Tiffany's shoulder.
"Hello?" Taeyeon who have been watching silently from the sides finally voice out. "In case you forget, your daughter is here umma?" She folded her arm, wanting to show her displease.
But Mrs Kim merely waved her hand, dismissing Taeyeon's comment. She then turned to Tiffany again. "What do you feel like eating? I'll cook for you." She asked.
Tiffany was still thinking when Taeyeon answered. "Samgaetang! With a lot a lot of side dishes!" She answered excitedly.
"Shhh. I didn't asked you." Mrs Kim scolded her daughter.
"What!" Taeyeon grumbled before pouting. "This is why I hate bringing her home. You forgot who your real daughter are." She sulked, folding her arm.
Tiffany had to laugh at the cute, sulking latter.
"Go and play with Ginger over there." Mrs Kim told the sulking Taeyeon as she waved her hand again, shooing her away.
"Great. Now even my own mother are chasing me away." Taeyeon looked at Tiffany. "And it's all thanks to you. What else you do want to steal from me?" She huffed at Tiffany before turning on her heels to walk away. "Ginger-yah!" She shouted for the black poodle.
Tiffany could only giggle and shook her head in amusement. No matter how many times she witness her girlfriend acting like a kid in front of her, she always find it amusing.
"That crazy kid." Mrs Kim's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Don't entertain her Tippani. Let's go to the kitchen. Do you want to help me out?"
"Yeah, sure." Tiffany had just answered but Mrs Kim had already pulled her towards the kitchen.
***********
"Ginger-ya!" Taeyeon shouted for Ginger, her voice echoing through the empty house as she turned around and walking away from her girlfriend and her own mum. She always hate it how she felt left out whenever her mum focused more on Tiffany than herself. But she don't mind it at all. Besides she loves to witness the close interaction between them. It would make her mum to accept Tiffany more easily, she thought.
"Ginger!" She continued screaming for her dog poodle when something on the floor caught her eyes. It was a piece of small clothing with a paw print on it. She giggled before taking a picture of it and posting it to Instagram. She picked the sock up. "Aigo, Ginger-yah. Why did you leave your socks around?"
Taeyeon could hear little approaching footsteps and she waited. She smiled when she saw Ginger coming out from one corner of the house. She kneel down on one knee. "Ginger! Noona's here!" She opened her arm wide.
