Happy Birthday, Jessica Jung!
"Soojung-ah, did you on the camera?" Jessica asked as she lazily lays her body on the bed, her eyes focusing on her phone.
"Nope. I think we've done enough recording for the day. " Krystal answered in English. She quickly placed her clutch bag onto the dressing table before grabbing a loose tee and jeans and proceeds into the bathroom to change to something more comfortable. Both the sisters had just came back into their hotel room after they had just done shooting another magazine photo shoot. She quickly get changed and checked her phone, preparing to go out again.
Jessica sensed her sister walking about in the room and she lifted her head up. "Where are you going?" She asked.
"Somewhere."
"Where?" Jessica sat up straight. She eyed her sister suspiciously. Krystal has never kept any secret from her.
"Don't worry about me. I'm just going shopping with stylist unnie. Just want to do some last minute shopping and buying some souvenirs back for my members." Krystal took her clutch bag again and checked her phone before putting it into her bag. She looked at Jessica. "I know you're tired and feeling lazy, that is why I didn't ask you to accompany me."
"But..."
"Do you want me to get anything for you?"
Jessica shook her head. "But I'll be alone in the room. What time will you get back? Are we having dinner together?"
Krystal smiled. "I'll be back soon. Just a quick one. Have a quick nap or something and I'll be back."
"Ok." Jessica was still contemplating as to whether to follow her sister or to stay in the hotel room and rest. The urge to shop was tempting but the big hotel bed was tempting her too. Plus, she wasn't sure if she could trust Krystal in her stylist unnie's care. After all, New York City is a huge city and she was concern for the safety of her sister. In the end, she decided to rest. Besides, she could use the time to talk to Yuri on the phone. "Be careful ok." She reminded her sister.
"I will." Krystal gave a reassuring smile to her sister. "I'm all grown up, unnie. I know how to take care of myself."
"You'll always be my little baby sister, Soojung." Jessica stood up and walked over to Krystal to pat her head.
Krystal didn't respond to that. She just smiled wider. "Alright, I have to get going." She said as she walked towards the door.
"Ok, take care alright." Jessica said as she observes Krystal walking away. She then remembered something. "Oh!" She quickly called for Krystal. "Did you take a hotel card along with you? In case I nap and didn't hear you ring the bell?"
"Yeah I did."
"Alright. Be careful." Jessica walked towards the door and hold the door open for Krystal.
"I will, unnie." Krystal assured her sister once more. "Bye." She said before turning around to walk towards the elevator.
Jessica observed Krystal walking down the corridor before she turned at the corner, disappearing from her sight. She decided to call Yuri first before taking a bath. But when she couldn't get through Yuri's phone, she decided laze around while watching TV instead. She was flipping the channels with the remote when the bell rings.
