"Alright man I'm going to go I got my stuff packed I'll see you at school tomorrow." I said putting on my backpack looking at Sam. "Alright man see you tomorrow" Sam said in a gentle tone. Me and sam have been friends since I can remember.

Oh, almost forgot I'm Nat I'm 15 and only 6'2 ft. Sam is 15 and 6'2 ft also. We live a few blocks away from each other so we walk back and forth to each other's house's. We take a short cut which goes under a bridge and over a gate then threw a few bushes only takes 15 minutes that way.

Anyways, I waved bye heading out the house I started toward the bridge there was less traffic then usual and the sky was dark. The clouds blocked out the sun it looked like it was about to rain. I didn't pay any attention to it and just kept walking towards the bridge I heard something behind me.

I turned around to look and see who was following me. But when I turned around no one was there. I thought it may have been Sam messing with me or my imagination. I turned around and kept walking.

I got chills down my back when I got closer to the bridge. I thought it might be the breeze in the air. When I reached the bridge I stoped in my tracks. I seen something up ahead it was a short dark figure. It looked like a girl dressed in black. From what I could make of it.

I took a few steps closer and called out in a soft gentle tone "Hello?" The figure didn't awnser it just looked at me. I got a little closer then I could see her perfectly. She was wearing a black shirt and short's her hair was black. Her skin was pale and her eyes were gray or black I couldn't tell.

Hello my fellow reader's. I hope you enjoy chapter 1. I also wrote this one different then I normally write my stories. But I think I like this way better. (Updates soon ^•^)
