The Shadow Girl

School

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I jump up going over to my closet and getting a shirt, ripped jeans and a denim jacket. I walked to my bathroom getting dressed then brushing my teeth.

I walked down stairs after getting my shoes on and grabed my bag hugging my mom. "I'll see you later mom" I said opening the door. "Alright sweet be safe" I gave her a quick nod then headed out the door and down the street.

I walked half way down the street then waited for Sam like normally. A few minutes pass and he still didn't show. So I pulled out my phone and texted him.

Nat: hey man were are you?

Sam: I'm on my way I see you

I looked up and I notice Sam. I smiled to myself and waved when he approached me I picked up my bag I laid beside me to text Sam. "You ready?" I asked looking over at him. "Yep let's go."

We reached the school and we walked in. I looked around then walked over to my locker Sam following me. His locker is right next to mine. I put my stuff in it and looked at Sam. "Hey Sam did you take the short cut?" He nodded "yea why?" I yawned for a moment then looked at him.

"Because yesterday I saw a strange girl under the bridge." He looked at meh in confusion and I preceded to tell him about yesterday.

"Wow man that's weird no I haven't seen no one like her." I started to walk to the cafeteria "yea man me either." We reached the cafeteria and I looked at the very back were an empty table sat no one sits there. But I seen someone the girl from the bridge.

I didn't bother getting Sam to look he was distracted by a girl he likes. I walk over to the girl and sat on the other side of the table were I was looking at her. "Hello" I said softly she looked and me and you could tell she was shy. "H-hello.." her voice was soft and sweet.

"Haven't I seen you before?" I asked smileing. She nodded gently "y-yea I was under the bridge." She wouldn't look up at me but I wasn't going to force her to look at me.

The bell rang before I could say anything else and before I knew what was going on Sam was dragging me to class.
