The Shadow Girl

I Seen It

I got up quickly looking at my door. I quietly walked to my door then I heard walking downstairs. I opened my door slowly trying not to make alot of noise.

I peeked my head out looking down the dark hallways. Then I looked at the stars. I gained confidence and walked towards the stairs slowly. I looked down at the bottom step.

That's when I seen it the short black figure dashed infornt of the bottom step and into the livingroom. I gasped and tried not to faint. I slowly stepped down to the bottom step and peeked around the corner. My eyes widened when I glanced at the corner close to the TV. A shadow looking figure looked at me.

I put my hand over my mouth when I noticed the hair and pale skin. When the figure knew that I figured out who it was it sunk into the wall. I ran back upstairs and into my room shuting my door. Quickly getting under the covers and soon I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and got dressed I brushed my teeth and picked up my phone. I checked my messages and I have received 3 messages from that unknown number.

Unknown: hello..

Unknown: hello?

Unknown: HELLO?!?

I gulped and brought myself to type back.

Nat: h-hello? 

I waited for a moment and when they never texted back I put my phone in my back pocket and I headed down stairs. I huged my mom "I'll see you later mom" she huged me back smiling "alright sweetie be careful."

I opened the door and nodded "I will" I shut the door and walked down the street and stopped at the stop sign waiting for Sam. When I seen him coming I waved. He waved back "You ready man?" He asked adjusting the bag on his back. "Yea man I ready" I picked up my bag putting it on my back and started towards the school.

I told Sam about the messages I received last night. And the figure I saw that looked like the girl at school. He didn't say much that morning in fact he just nodded and kept walking. I found that a bit weird since Sam is a talker. He would talk your head off if you let him.

When we got to school I placed my stuff in my locker and headed to the cafeteria when I seen Sam had ran off with that girl. I looked at the back table and sure enough Jane was there sitting alone. I walked to her and sat in front of her.

"Hey" I said she just looked at me and gave a small smile.

Hello my fellow reader's. I know this was a long part of the story I hope that's fine. I would of updated sooner but I was busy. (Updates soon ^•^)
