After what happened at the bridge she just wouldn't stop smiling. I never seen her smiling like that. I went home after we said goodbye.
I got home and the house was empty I was confused and I looked around the house. I found a note on the counter it was from mom.
Note: Honey me and your father went to the store for a bit be home later.
Love: mom&dadI shrugged but I didn't want to be here alone. After last night I went stright up stairs and texted Sam.
Nat: Hey man my parents are gone for a few hours wanna come over?
Sam: Sorry man I'm with Jackie right now
Nat: It's fine man have fun
He didn't text back after that and I sighed. I started to get worried I kept thinking about last night. I couldn't forget about that figure.
Next thing I knew the front door opened and I gasped. I heard footsteps running up the stairs. I was frozen I couldn't move. Me being a stupid idiot I didn"t lock the door.
I heard a knock on my door and I bout jumped out of my skin. I said in a shaky voice "w-who is it..?" I heard a soft shuffling noise. "I-t's me..Jane" I about fainted when she said that I got up and walked over to the door.
I reached out my hand and hesitated to grab the handle. I finally got myself to open it. I looked at her and she walked in. "I'm sorry if I just invited myself in but I'm not use to haveing a friend" I smiled politely.
"It's alright Jane" she looked up at me. "I also want to explain something to you" she gave a soft smile.
