A New Path

Chapter 16: OMG

New Years Eve came and tonight was going to be special. I didn't know why, I just know that Trevor was planning something. I woke up that morning and I saw Trevor sleeping. I really wanted to know what he had planning for tonight. He was laying on his arms so I got on top of him. I started massaging his shoulders as I whispered in his ear.

"Baby," I whispered.

"Hmmm," he said.

"Baby," I whispered again.

"Hmmm," he said.

"What do you have planned for tonight?"

"I can't tell you," he said very tired.

"Can you tell me who it's planned for at least?"

"No," he said.

"Come on baby," I whispered in his ear as I slowly massaged his shoulders. Then I kissed his ear to making him weak.

"No," he said trying to contain himself.

"Come on just tell me who it's for."

"You," he said. Me. Why me?

"Me!!??" I asked shocked as I stopped.

"Come on don't stop," he said.

"What's so special about tonight?"

"Ya'll find out."

"Well that's what I'm trying to do."

"Babe...."

"I'm just saying."

"Can you please continue?"

"Fine at least I know it's for me."

"Thank you." I got back down and massages his shoulders. I also kissed his ear to keep him calm and in the mood. He was really enjoying it. After, I just got up and went into my house to get something for breakfast. We had food in our kitchen, but today we were lazy.

"Good morning mommy," I said.

"Good morning sweetie," my mom said as I kissed her.

"Morning daddy," I said as I kissed him too.

"Morning baby girl." As I was about to sit down, I looked at Trevor and he was just looking at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"What about me?"

"Good morning baby."

"Good morning honey." I was about to sit down again but he tapped his cheek. I rolled my eyes and he smiled. Instead of kissing his cheek, I turned his head towards me and I kissed him.

"Satisfied?"

"I asked for a kiss on my cheek but I ain't going to complain." I just shook my head and I heard my dad laugh. Just as I was about to sit down, Trevor pulled my arm towards him. I got between his legs and sat on one as he had his hands on my waist. Suddenly, we both started laughing. I didn't even know why were were laughing.

"Why are you guys laughing?" my mom asked.

"I don't even know," I said as we just continued laughing.

"Love, their in love," my dad said. Trevor and I looked at each other and smiled. Then I just touched his face and caressed it.

"Trevor," my dad said to him and Trevor looked at him, "I just want to say thank you."

"For what?"

"For actually being there for my baby girl. For not disappointing her and spend as much time you can with her, which is actually everyday even if it's for a little while. Also for being loyal and sticking with your word so far. I know you too are meant to be and I know you guys aren't engaged yet but I give you my full permission and blessing to take my daughter and make her your wife."
