Rendezvous

"Any places in mind where you want to eat?" Taehyung leaned on his chair as he looked at her.  "Well, I've heard some good barbecue place." She chirped while she's remembering earlier what she heard from her junior's back at the seminar. Though Taehyung wasn't expecting that kind of answer from her, it surprised him a little bit. "Barbecue?" He asked again

"Yeah... but if you don't want to, it's okay." She slowly laughs nervously— realizing maybe she went too strong on him. He immediately shakes his head, rejecting on what she assumed "Barbecue place sounds good." "Really?" Sierra unconsciously smiled when she asked him, Taehyung enthusiastically nodded his head at her.

When they got to the place— Taehyung was silently hoping it would consist only a few people and to his expectation, it met— though given the fact that it's a hidden place most likely you have to give an effort to find it.

It gets complicated when there are too many people for him.

As both of them enjoying their meal, Taehyung was the one in charge of grilling the food since he was so persistent about how she can expect from him "I'm known at this" he jokingly said to her— lighting up the mood. She giggled and nods at him "I'm counting on it."

"So after coming from France how you've been?" Sierra stopped pouring the soju when she heard him. "Somehow it's been good I guess?" He nodded at her answer and didn't pry about how uncertain she is "You?"

"I'm doing okay." He responded, giving her a smile from him— making her influence to smile as well. "I didn't expect that you would like soju." Taehyung pointed out, Sierra gave him a glance. "I just love this sweet version and it helps me to take thoughts out of my mind." she replied giggling once again, Taehyung rose an eyebrow and looked at her "Don't give me that look Taehyung-shii, I'm not drunk.. yet." She mumbled. It made him chuckled at her response "Yet, huh?" Sierra smiled at him dreamily "Don't you worry I'm not planning to get drunk, not like someone..." she teases. The alcohol is already kicking in her and Taehyung noticed that.

"I'm sorry and thankful about what happened— for not leaving me on the cold streets." You can tell his voice was genuine about it and somewhat shy, Sierra smiled at him. "My conscience won't let me sleep if I just left you there and to top it off I'm a Doctor for Pete's sake Taehyung-shii besides that, I can't let that happened to someone especially when I know I can do something about it." She blurted it out truthfully, Taehyung unconsciously shows his signature boxy smile that caught Sierra's attention once again. "You know your smile looks awfully familiar." He suddenly bit his lip at what she commented— ending up laughing awkwardly while he tries to disregard her thoughts about it.

After that scenario, both of them end up walking side by side on the quiet streets. Helping each other to sober up— but mostly helping Sierra. The breeze helps a lot about her state making her body to chill down "You've been staring at me, is there something you want to ask?" she pondered, Taehyung suddenly averted his gaze away from her— obviously, he's been caught. "What's bugging you Taehyung-shii?" He cleared his throat and gulped before he could speak up "I was just wondering... If you're free tomorrow." He confessed.

Sierra didn't expect such a question coming from him.

all of a sudden why? she wondered.

"Huh?" Sierra whispered that can be only audible to him.

You're different and it interests me.

Is all in Taehyung's head but couldn't say it out loud. "Because I feel like this isn't enough to make up on what you've done to me... so I thought maybe touring you around tomorrow would be fun." Sierra took a deep breath and looked at him ending up seeing him looking at her already, she gulped. "I'm free." His eyes slowly went wide because of her answer— he broke a smile. "In this town, you can count on me." By his claimed, she laughs at him "I'm trusting you." Taehyung eagerly nods at her "Not going to disappoint you on the slightest bit."

"By the way, doesn't this scene feels familiar?" Her voice made Taehyung think about what she was trying to convey"That night when we spend together at France." He uttered out, making her nod at him. "Don't you think it's weird? The feeling?" What's going on right now amuses her, walking around with the same man but now in a different place.

Taehyung shakes his head as he blurted out his thoughts "I don't think it's weird, I just think it's happening for a reason."
