Taehyung stopped painting when he heard his phone rings, leaving his paintbrushes and other stuff on the floor, seeing the name of the person who called him, made his face lighten up. "Not busy?" he started.

"I just finished work and bought a whole box of pizza"

Taehyung left a chuckle "wow, this is new... what happened?" Sierra hummed for a bit before answering him "I finally told my parents about it..."

Taehyung eyes widen at the news, "What was their response?" blurting those words, made Sierra sigh heavily. "I'll tell you later. I'm still driving or if you're free, come join me knowing that I can't eat this whole pizza alone."

He slowly went dazed when he heard her inviting him, it's been a while since they saw each other because of the hectic schedules they have and so without delay, he nodded as if Sierra would see it "I'll come."

"Nice! See you, take care." She cheered, Taehyung responded "Yeah, drive safely!" when Sierra hangs up the phone, he rushes himself to clean the room before he could take a bath since his body was covered with strokes of his paints due to his project that his working on.

Sierra arrived at her place, parking the car she saw Taehyung standing at the entrance. She looked at the man, but her eyes draw attention on what he was holding. He lift the bag he was holding near to his face "I feel like wine would taste great with pizza." Sierra gave him the thumbs up "Now we're talking." She jokingly reacted as they enter the building so they could arrive at her place.

Putting the food they brought at her coffee table, they both sat down at the floor not even thinking about sitting at the couch to make things more surprisingly comfortable. "So what happened?" he slowly utter, he is genuinely worried on what happened when she and her family talked over.

"Well, as expected they're disappointed..." after she left those words she drank her wine, Taehyung's face plastered a dreadful concerned look. "My anxiety was off the roof when I was talking with them, though on the other hand it kind of felt great, to be honest... like as if there's this lump in my throat that was taken off."

She left a soft giggle and looked at him, then she saw him smiling candidly, "You did a great job, I'm proud of you." Her heart skipped a beat all of a sudden; she promptly seated straight and coughs a bit, clearing her throat as she looked somewhere else.

This is bad; you can't be flustered in front of him.

She was silently disciplining herself through her mind, but it cut off when she heard him speak "I also want to say something..." he was looking at his glass of wine while he munches his pizza while she's waiting for him to continue. Taehyung was having a battle with his thoughts and slowly the apprehension was creeping into his veins.

"Taehyung, are you okay?" He was brought to reality when Sierra's emitted a concerned voice. She noticed he was breathing vastly and as if he was lost into his mind—drowning into the dark abyss. "Don't push yourself too hard, you can tell me when you're ready." She comforted "And when you're ready, I'll be here to listen."

Taehyung didn't notice his eyes are teary and his heart kept on thumping in a weird way, not because of his anxiety but for the reason he just felt when realizing that Sierra is serious when she's soothing him.

"You're tearing up."

Sierra reflexes made her grabbed her bag so she could take out a packet of tissues, Taehyung was about to deny what she pointed out, but didn't. "Yeah, I'm sorry..." he tried to beam a smile.

"Hey, You don't need to feel sorry and even smile in front of me when you're not genuinely feeling it at all." She bluntly retorted, Taehyung was taken aback— causing him to blink his eyes repeatedly however he quickly recovered when he lightly chuckle at her comment.

Amused by her statement, yet he felt touched by it as well.

He nodded in acknowledgement then took the tissues she was offering out while he unconsciously carved his box-like-smile.
