After having the last patient, Sierra stands up and stretches her body. She's been mostly sitting in her whole shift, because of the endless patients she needs to consult. Suddenly someone knocks at her door, she smiled to see Jiahn "Want to grab some coffee?" when she nodded her head, Jihoon suddenly pops out behind Jiahn's back "Let's go..."
As they were talking to each other, the three of them swiftly arrive at the café which is located on the second floor. Automatically Jiahn picked their seats; meanwhile, Sierra's with Jihoon over the counter since he knows already what his girlfriend would love to order.
Upon arriving at the seats, Sierra stand in front of them "I'll be going now." making Jiahn eyebrows meet together "Already? But you just finished your shift? Don't you want to take it slow?" her friend's voice was full of confusion. "I'm okay, besides I need to go to my department before I could go home." She smiled sweetly at her as she manages to find an excuse, knowing that Jiahn and Jihoon couldn't spend much time together alone, so being a good friend she is she will give that time they need for each other.
Sierra left the couple at the café, "I guess I couldn't ask her something." Jiahn looked at Jihoon's comment "what will you ask anyway?" the male sipped his coffee before answering his girlfriend's question. "I saw Yunoh earlier, He looked confused— In short I guess he was looking weird..." Jiahn seriously looked at Jihoon "Why would you ask that to Sohee? Have you lost your mind? they've broken up already."
"Oh shit, I forgot about that." upon realizing he bit his lip then scratches his nape. Jiahn rolls her eyes and sip at her coffee, although at the back of her head she can't blame Jihoon for forgetting, creating her to presume that even for some would not get used to both Sohee and Yunoh being separated.
Sierra was walking along with the foyers of the hospital, planning to go to the Psychiatric Department to check the readings that she needs to work on.
Her tracks stopped when she saw him standing a bit far in front of her, Casper walked closer, closing the gap they have. "I have to tell you something..." she barely looked at his eyes, trying to act normal in front of him— the guilt she has, tends to crawls into her veins.
"Hmm? What is it?"
Casper unconsciously took a deep breath "Your mom and dad faced time me." When those words left his lips, Sierra directly looked up to him, resulting both of them having eye contact. "Huh? When did this happen?" her voice was soft but it quivered slightly. "Earlier this morning..."
"What did you guys talk about?" she continued to ask him, despite that her heart is rising uncontrollably. "They were just asking how I was and about you also..." Casper was talking to her however her mind was taking her elsewhere already overthinking about the situation. "Sierra... they still don't know yet." His voice cut Sierra's thoughts from flying.
"You didn't—" her heart thumps gradually. "I figured, it would be best if it would come from you. But why haven't you told them?"
Sierra looked at the side, seeing an empty bench at the hallway it made her want to sit down while sinking on what was happening, in doing so Casper followed her and sat right next to her. "I will, I was just finding the right opportunity."
The anxiety that she has kicked into her system slowly, she felt that this situation is giving her a sign to do it. He was about to grab her hand but stopped halfway, when Sierra's body jolted up and she twirls around to look at him.
"I'm sorry. Probably that called bothered you. Seriously... I'm sorry. I'll handle this, don't worry." Even when she smiled at him, he could still tell she's not okay and it brings him pain. "It didn't bother me. Please don't be sorry." he clarified to her, still she sighed.
"Sierra..." He tries to say something, but alas it was cut off when a nurse called Sierra, the three of them slightly bowed— greeting to each other.
"Dr Bom Sohee, Professor Jung was looking for you at the psychiatric department." She nodded at the nurse and looked at Casper "Hmmm??" she's waiting for him to continue what he wanted to say.
"Never mind. You should better get going, Professor Jung is waiting." he muttered to her. "Are you sure? I could be late for few more minutes" she tries to encourage him.
"Yeah, don't worry it could hold, maybe next time." he smiled as he put his both hands at her shoulder "Don't make a Professor wait, you know that..." respecting his decisions, she nodded slowly. "O-okay, I'll go. Even if you said so I'm still really sorry!" she chirped and continued to walk a little bit faster to arrive at the department.
